[TR] State of the Pups December 2010
State of Me: I got busy with broken hand and then later, Christmas + work, so some people got a little shafted on posts this month. I hope to make it up a little in the NYE party.
Character: Jack O'Neill

General: December is sort of the last happy month for Jack for a while since he and Sam are losing the baby :( Since Sam is going to be involved with Scott's space station plot, I anticipate a lot of resistance from Jack about her pushing herself too hard after the miscarriage and several heated arguments related to that. Every time I waffle on this plot (and believe me, I waffle), I tell myself it's going to be worth it in the end. I doubt Jack is the type to sit around and mope or cry but I anticipate he'll be a lot angrier than he's been in the past, a lot more sullen and spend a lot less time with Felicity and Susan Pevensie's kids since it'll hurt quite a bit. He and Sam got married back on the 13th, so that will be a rocky place early on in their marriage for sure.
NYE: Possibly. It depends on if Sam is going.
Character: Jacob Black

General: He and Belle are going to sort of move toward adding the physical to their relationship. He's young, yes, but he'll be turning 18 in February and he and Belle have been dating for about seven or eight months now. That's a lifetime in teenage years, so. I really love his relationships with the other island teens but I really want to thread him with Shari. He misses Morgan, a lot, and I imagine he's been trying to step in and help out a little more at the Homestead now that he's gone.
I also want to thread him with Bill Weasley. He's been getting interested in cooking, for one, and since Bill's the adult in residence at the homestead now, I think their interaction would be pretty good.
NYE: Definitely. He'll even wear a shirt.
Character: Princess Zelda

General: Zelda is always a hard one for me because she isn't prone to give her secrets away and she tends to click with other characters who are quiet and/or don't post often. I've tried EPing her but she's SO hard to get in there and interact that I have trouble. That said, I'd really love more threads with Rachel Gatina and possibly Brooke Davis? Ygritte's friends are, of course, friends of Zelda's. I also love any and all threads I can get with Ygritte or Snafu, since between the two of them Zelda is usually pretty romantically confused. She's an odd bird, that's for sure. Oh! And Alistair :)

General: I...need to do better with Niko. I fell down on him badly this month and his voice is so hard for me because he's not that chipper, happy, talk to anyone guy. He's taciturn and quiet and that's hard to get across without a lot of inner monologue. I think if I were fic writing I'd be fine, but RP is meant to be interactive, so it isn't as easy. I'm comfortable enough with the voice but the problem with Niko is that I'd love for him to have some friends outside of Cal and Susan and Niko is just... :| He's fond enough of Buffy, so I'd like to continue that for sure. He also likes Terry Cassidy a lot.
NYE: By request. He hates parties, but I'm cool with a thread stemming off from where he ran into someone after the party.

General: MAGNUS AND WILL HAD SEX. I feel like putting this in 18 pt sparkly text, since it was such a bone of contention between them. Now that the hurdle of sexual intercourse has been overcome, I think she and Will can settle in a mostly happy and stress free relationship. I was eventually going to give her Adam Worth's daughter's medical records as her item so that we could play out some of the fallout from For King and Country IG but since butterflysteve is planning on apping Tesla this quarter, I think I'll hold off and give her something Druitt-related instead.
Callie and I also want to do a timeloop with her and Will and replay the events of Requiem, which I'm sure will break her into a million pieces.

General:Peter...I don't even know. He's in a weird headspace since he fought with Shari and they haven't really spoken since. I can't imagine he went a month incommunicado, but I think if he ran into her he said hi and made small talk. He's still living with Savannah, whom he adores, and I really dig his friendships with Helena, Raylan and Remy. He's also, and we need to thread this out, Callie, started therapy with Will to work on his feelings of inadequacy and the depression surrounding his death, etc. It's fun to play a character with so much internal plot and I love playing him even though he's a miserable bastard right now. I'm also digging his thread with Quorra.

TJ IS SO MUCH FUN. I need to get her out sometime next month with the baby but I'm really digging her friendship with Baze and would love for her to meet Lux, just because Baze has talked about how awesome she is. I'd also like for her to meet Kate McNab. Other than the whole, possibly dating Baze thing, they both have small children and I think they'd just mesh. She's a really zen pup, which I love, and while I'm sad SGU got canceled it's nice in a way that I am free to extrapolate my own headcanon for some small backstory things and not worry about getting Jossed (see: John Sheppard has an ex wife WHAT).
I'd really like for her to start hanging around the clinic just to help out once things are settled with having a newborn because she just hates being idle. She'd like to see some doctors in action, too, so I think it'd be good for her.
NYE: Probably not, since the baby will be on her hip.
THE FUTURE:

Okay so I gave up on Chloe. I love her, but the voice is too weak for me to feel strong about an application for her. Norrington came off retirement and I have been playing him various places for about three years, give or take, so the app was really easy to put together and I've been working on it for months. I don't know if I'll submit on Saturday or not (all signs point to yes, because I'm an impatient bitch) but I'm very excited to get a chance to play him again if it goes through. Other than that, I'm done until someone gets dropped.
