Groaning from the Plebs
I think our Office Manager is possibly the snarkiest person alive. On Tuesday when we had a meeting with all the support/admin staff, while reprimanding us for failing to meet some standard she actually used "I mean, hello, Earth? Hello, Earth?" Have any of you heard that since elementary school? I know I haven't.
She sent an email to my coworker that said that "Wearing scarves while in the office is not professional"
She complains that too many people go get their coffee after they clock in in the mornings, and that we should instead get to work earlier, get our coffee, and THEN come back to our desks and clock in. While telling us this she talks to all of us (even those who don't violate this "policy") as if we were bad little 8 year olds. Everything ends with "I mean, it's not like it's that HARD, people!"
We're not allowed to go outside of the office to get a snack and eat. Let's be clear: we are allowed to go outside of the office (20 minutes of break time per day), and we are allowed to go to the vending machine and get a snack to eat, but we are forbidden from doing both of those things at the same time.
Where is the justice, people? Where is it?
