...I wish I had something important to update with, but frankly, my life isn't all that interesting.
First off, I've been doing okay in school, hopefully it'll keep up. Work has been pretty good, been having good times working at Gamestop...just hours are still hurting, but, what can one do you know?
Friday, I had a midterm in my Evidence class...the scantron portion was all true and false and was fairly easy...but then came the short answer portion. I believe this portion will be what makes or breaks me...especially the way one of the questions was phrased:
"What is the legal distinction between an inference and a presumption. Give two examples of each."
The legal distinction? Essentially he wanted us to define our terms...well, naturally an inference is a conclusion that could be reached by a logical mind given similar circumstances...or something to that effect, for instance a fingerprint puts a suspect at the scene of a crime, but it doesn't on its own show they committed the offense, though, when put together with other facts one could make the inference that they committed the offense. Anyway, I couldn't remember the definition of presumption but I knew what the difference was...I wonder if I'll get partial credit for knowing what an inference was and giving examples of it and examples of presumption even though I didn't get the exact definition...meh...
After school, my sister picked me up and I dropped by Mr. Pickle for lunch (I love that place) and then headed to Tai's place to pick up the money to buy some stuff. Following the brief stop at Tai's I made a stop at the market and picked up some party items (booze baby!) and subsequently returned to Tai's with a good amount of booze...and thus the party began.
Left earlier than I would have normally since I started getting sick...whether it be from the booze, the pizza, or whatever...It was probably the booze considering later I threw up...gah...twas horrible.
As for today, didn't really do much. Today was more of a recovery day...so I didn't really do much that could be considered "activity". Anyway, I'm done for now...I'm gonna try to get some sleep.
