Fever and being sick in general can make you feel so weird. On one hand I can’t swallow, my head is pounding, my body is bowling, my stomach is churning, and my whole body aches. But part of me is so delirious that it feels undeniably good. I feel drunk. Oh so intoxicated by everything. My body is tingling, and my heart pounding. I feel like I’m floating. My insides are warm and bubbly. I can’t stop giggling. I want to be better, but I never want this to end.
And my fever is only 101.9 now; just think what I was like on Friday…
