La Mancha Films, Inc.

As of May 8th, 2008, La Mancha Films, Inc. is an official corporation in the state of New York. By Tuesday of next week, all of the papers, the official shares, the corporate seal, etc. should all be in my hands.

The lovely Danielle is working on my logo which, when she finishes, I will trademark and be able to start making business cards (awesome!) and more official-looking documents.

I've been listening to the song "Moving Too Fast" from Last 5 Years the past few days... I'm starting to feel it. I have really high hopes for this movie, which is no longer being classified as a student film. That's right. I'm directing my first Indie feature. We've had cast shake-ups and we'll have even more in the coming days. We tried to get all of David's scenes in before he had to leave for India, but, when watching the dailies, they were no good. Regrettably, he's about to ship out to India in... a day... so we can't re-shoot his stuff, which sucks as this was going to be our first step into the new world of cinema together. It's ok. We'll do the next one together and it'll be bigger and better than this one. It really sucks, though, and we're both upset about it.

I just did some rewrites and I think they're great. I'm trying to make a few subtle Hitchcock references: some will be easy, like the one for Rope, some less obvious, like North by Northwest.

You know what's cool? Now that I have a corporation, I can buy those M&M's that will have "LaMancha Films" written on the back. I kick ass.
