how did Woolsey transition his way into leading the Atlantis expedition?
I remember watching the episodes leading into the 5th season and yet I might have missed something...please refresh my memory, or if you could just direct me to the episode where it transitioned, I will watch for myself ^^

1. NEWS- I could rant for a very long time about this topic, but I won’t for the sake of all our sanities:P
I just have to say that I’m grateful for their pop and inspirational music, because they really helped me through some rough moments in my life. It’s only been a year since I’ve known these boys, but I’ve learned a lot, and however ‘slow’ the season may be for the band, I’ll always come back to them when they do have activities:) Recently, my iPod shuffled to some older songs like “Sayaendou,” and “Cherish,” which I haven’t really heard it in awhile, but I truly loved that period of NEWS history ^^
And even though I’m mostly a 6-nin NEWS kind of gal, I’ll still support them if the line up changes:D
2. Erika Toda- She’s my recent girl!crush ^^
It’s funny, because she bugged me at first, or rather her character in “Nobuta wo Produce” rubbed me the wrong way, but now I really love her and her acting:) I think “Ryusei no Kizuna” had a huge impact for me, in terms of her image and her style. Her smile seems so energetic, but she can also play the ‘darker’ character:) I love her hair and yea, she’s a pretty kickass actress :D
And on days when my hair is wavy and down, I sorta look like her…from very far away:P
3. real life- What does real life mean to me? I guess existential? Lol, I don’t really know. Life sucks, dawg. I’m not gonna lie. It’s dandy most of the time, but when it’s rough, it’s rough. But ya know, I’ve always tried to be realistic about everything I do, be pragmatic, so I kind of just take it in strides. My philosophy in life is that the greatest lessons happen when the heart is breaking or overflowing, so either way, life experiences happen for a reason and are important. Yea, it can get really sucky, but life is life until it’s over…and that could be anytime now. I accept death, so I’m glad that my ‘real life’ tag can document me as I am before it changes:)
4. doramas- This takes up too much of my brain space and time, really. It shouldn’t and I keep seeing my mom saying ‘What does it matter if you miss one show?,’ but DAMN, I can’t resist! :P
When I first started watching dramas and learning the terminology and stuff, I was like ‘why the hell are the seasons so short? And why aren’t there seasons twos?’ But then I got used to it, and I don’t see serial television the same way again:P I prefer a good amount of episodes per drama, but at least it’s faster pace and you get to watch more this way ^^
btw: Finished "The Quiz Show" and I have decided that 'shyness' must equal 'brilliant on-screen emoting/crying your eyes old' acting :P Both Yoko and Ryo are A;LJENAVR;OITAH when they are angsting it out ♥
5. Fanfics- I don’t know how this began, because you stumble upon things (like LJ:P) and you get addicted, and then you can never remember a time when you didn’t do it, ya know? Actually, if I think hard enough, my first fanfic experience was on Amanda Tapping’s official site. I read a really amazing fic of Sam/Jack, and was like, wow, this is almost like reading an episode. And then there were a gazillion writers out there that I didn’t know existed, and so now I’m one of them. I’m still grappling with grammar and characterization with any fandom, but creating these stories and realities is fun. And these are stories that people appreciate, and I really enjoy that :)
Futatsu no Spica ep 2. Review
~~> TEAMWORK and friendships are starting to finally solidify :D
There's so much I wanna A;SLEIJA;VNLDGLKJ about it, but I can't really put it properly into words. I'll write the short version, because I'm tired ^^
~~> Two great metaphors/analogies were used here. The Hydra one; I love how it's similar to the Spica-you think you're alone, but you're really not:) The Hydra constellation shines so bright, but it's not alone. There are also dimmer stars close by, letting you take the limelight, but still supporting you.
Also, in space, you decelerate to catch up to something in orbit (or something more complicated;P) and so in order to catch up to you, I'll decelerate (in the race). GAH, I can't really describe it so it sounds all lame and technical, but damn it! This show may be a kiddy show compared to the epicness of Mr. Brain and TQS and I'll keep repeating myself, because this show it worth the time:D
~~> We finally learn more about the supporting characters Kiryu (Mukai) and Sano-sensei. They're both victims of the "Lion" crash 10 years ago, and they both harbor hatred towards Kamogawa (the father). What's worse, Kiryu found out that the lead actress, whom he had been on really good and cute terms with, is the daughter of the person who was involved (I wouldn't say 'caused' just yet) in the "Lion" incident, so now I don't know what's going to happen. He's like "I can't allow for your daughter to become an astronaut."
Damn boy, I don't know if I can like you anymore if you're gonna say that, but then again, I understand his position:/
~~> These two have great acting chemistry ♥
~~> The scene between Shu and Kei was cute. I don't know if there will be a pairing there, but we'll see;) It always comes down to shipping people for me:P
I finally got around to downloading the raw file of Takeru's "Hanamaru Cafe" episode, and I don't know if anyone ever did sub it, but I could understand like 40% of what they were saying.
I really wish I could learn faster, because I have the tools and time to sub things, I just don't have the language skills:/
So yes, these are just rough translations ^^
But yea, he was there promoting "Rookies" the movie. This is what Takeru ate ^^
He was saying how he and this pastry chef made a similar tomato cake for his birthday for a short tv program or something. And that's how he started liking these types of cakes :) Strange combination, but I'd like to try ^^
Isn't he just positively adorable:D
Some interesting things I got (or think I got) from this appearance:
- Takeru likes to eat, like everything:P Except this one dish, which I couldn't really hear:p
- Most of us know that his big break was with "Kamen Rider Den-O" ;)
- They showed Takeru's recent Lotte CM and talked about how he's a really good dancer. And then he mentions that he used to break dance in high school. They also asked him if he could perform the CM dance during the shooting, and he's like 'What? are you serious? Bikkurishita~ Abunai abunai' lol cute:)
I don't know if he did or not, but it wasn't aired:P
- Had a fan meeting event on his 20th birthday and took a grand picture with them for the Hanamaru Album:) Said that him and his fans just chatted, and at the end, he sung Mr. Children's "Simple" as a way of expressing his gratitude:)
- He was always waiting to turn 20 so he could drink and do those things. It's not like a big deal to drink, but it was always inconvenient and annoying (kuyashii is the precise word) not being able to drink ^^ So, one of the first things he did when turning 20 was drink, lol. He had champagne with his sempais in the his company.
- He said something about seikin taisaku (translated as something like tax computer program???), which made the lady announcers laugh, like 'nani sore' lol:P
- He wrote "jibun no koto ga jibun de dekiru hito" as what his philosophy was for turning 20 and becoming a man. So like, being a capable person and doing things oneself is probably what he meant:)
- Cute pictures of Takeru's childhood (as shown above) and another one where he's like so red from crying, lol.
- Played baseball back in grade school, and the announcer commented on how he's got good form even now:)
- And then they show his tribute performance to Perfume's song, and said that everyone was really skinny in it:P Also, Takeru said it was a hard dance, but said he practiced during the shooting of Rookies, lol:)
- Was discovered in Harajuki by a scout during golden week...the second year of high school, I think. Says he's very lucky~ It was actually his first time in Harajuku, but when he was approached by the scout and handed a card, he knew about the company, Amuse, and was grateful for it:)
- He's good friends with everyone that shot Rookies, but is the closest to Shirota Yuu ^^
- Shirota used to be a regular (I think) on Hanamaru, and so Takeru says he hasn't changed since seeing him on the show:P Also, that Shirota is the most hyper in the group:P
- When asked what they do when hanging out, Takeru says they go driving around, or trying to find a good place to eat. They can't decide so they go in circles and then they end up at a place from the beginning, lol.
- I think he mentioned that if there's one thing they haven't done, it's Shirota going to Takeru's house. When asked why, he says it's because he doesn't invite people often to his house in general.
- Shirota actually VTR comments and called Takeru 'zurui kawai' so a cunning sort of cute:P Like he knows how to use his cuteness, lol! I think Shirota also said that he wish he knew how to act like that. Says that Takeru is nekko poi LOL....so Takeru is like a cat now, awesome ♥
It makes sense though!! There are bound to be pictures of his cat on his blog once in a while:D
And then the 'secret' of Takeru that Shirota talks about is that, on the show, he'll seem super grateful and soft spoken and stuff, but with friends, he's really hyper :D
So he's like 'I hope you see the high tension Takeru' lol :P
- Takeru admits that he's really annoying/loud in real life. Urusai is the word he used ^^
- Went to the osen with Miura Haruma and Kamiki Ryunosuke, who are both under Amuse. They were invited by their manager, lol. They talk about being sempais, but I don't know who they were referring to, because Takeru's the oldest, but in terms of work, I'd say both Miura and Kamiki have done more than Takeru. They also talk about Miura (19) and Kamiki (16)'s age difference, and how Takeru doesn't really notice:)

Q: As a guy, what makes you cry?
A: I actually don't cry that often, but I did cry watching this new movie, " Yomei Ikkagetsu no Hanayome" (Movie/documentary of a women fighting breast cancer and proving her love to her husband). Rookies too, I think. But movies in general don't usually make me cry.
Q: I really enjoy the inspirational message that Rookies brings. What do you find important?
A: That I get to listen and talk to different people, go to different places. I feel that conversation of any sort, that if you just listen seriously, you can learn something about yourself too:) (OMW, when I heard this, I was like, wow...I most definitely love you:) )
Q: When is your favorite time?
And then he goes *paaah* like a quick pop from his lips and they chuckle :P
A: When eating something I love:) Recently, I've been interested in discovering good foods, so I've been going around sampling different stores:)
Q: What makes you happy now?
A: (After a long uuuuuuuuhhhhhhh, on which the announcer even said 'nagai' lol) The feeling of the make-up brush.
To which the response was EH?! LOL :P
Yea, ya know that make up brush that sweeps like powder evenly across your face, that's what Takeru means ^^
And the ladies are like 'You have one?'
And he's like 'Not really, but the make up artists on set sometimes brushes my face with it, and it feels good.'
At the same time, the guy announcer was like 'um, you don't even need it.'
And they all laugh:) And finally, we're running out of time so...
Q: What is your dream?
A: Of course, to continue working:) Yea, I've been doing both the drama and movie for Rookies, so after this, I hope I can do more films:)

Then, I got really tired and couldn't finish this entry till later (for obvious reasons; it's fraking long. sumimasen). Took like a 5-hour nap and had a dream with Takeru in it ^^
I was either married or in a relationship with him and I was really hyper in my kitchen at one point. He got upset because I wasn't acting like 'myself,' and I was upset because that was how I was when I was happy. So, I go to my room and sulk while he stays in the living room. I think I even took a nap in my dream, lol, and then he came in my room to apologize. To make it up to me, he said that we should go to the beach like I wanted to :)
And then when we got somewhere, there was a construction site accident or something, and we go to investigate. And all I really remember from that point on was that I heard that HSJ had an accident during their tour.
I wake up and have this warm fuzzy feeling 'cause Takeru's really nice in my dream, but WTF brain...HSJ is not even in my radar of attention span and yet it shows up in my dream :P
I'm like itching to start a new drama, yo. I'm ready for this summer season to actually begin! And by that, I mean "Orthros no Inu" ^^
My love for Ryo is infinite :D
