[Episodes 9 & 10] Ep. 9 The moment where Asahina and Yoko were sitting at his apartment door was great. Loved that what he said to Yoko was basically reflective of what he was feeling for Hyuga as well. He hurt him, but he still misses him. Nicely done, drama :)
Awww and he really did save something from that wall (I wonder if he snuck a picture of the whole thing before he obliterated it), though it was freakin hard to watch when he painted it all over. Of course, in a sense, he wasn’t erasing their past but wanting a clean slate to be his own man. But still, those emotions were all tangled in the resentment that he was overshadowed for so long that it didn't feel fresh, but damaging.
Awww, shippery goodness “if you break a wall, you have to take responsibility” tehhheee :D That’s what I’m looking for!
OMG, I predicted the jail thing, woo! xD Well, it is pretty predictable though, heh.
Ep. 10 Oh, so it wasn’t even Asahina who turned himself in. Having someone orchestrating it kinda makes it mean less; it would be more honorable if he did it.
Random, but I can totally see Suda Masaki grow up and his facial features become like that of Ayano Go xD
I think the idea of a personal shopper is great, but it would take the fun out of shopping if it became the thing to do xD Also, it might endanger my job, as I put clothes away at a dept. store :P
Aw, I feel bad for Yamagami.
I don’t really know why she thought he didn’t reciprocate the feelings; he made that comment of taking responsibility and he worked really hard for her approval. I guess if I were in the same situation, I’d second guess it too, but come on! Even he had to ask “I thought I was returning your feelings.” XD
“That’s why I hate getting involved with people. Why does she make me feel like that?!” “If you get too close to a person, your heart and mind become confused, you hate to see yourself like that, but accepting that confusion and the person it come with, isn’t that the meaning of being together?” Yes! ♥
I envy train rides in Japan.
I kind of feel like it would’ve been nice to have Natsui be the one to go with him while he met his mom, but at the same time, there was no way he was going to willingly search for his mom if he weren’t searching for Natsui. Also, I like that there is less drama involved -he went, he saw her, he left. Perhaps there could have been another plot line that ended up with a reunion, but I think this works. I don't think the show was ever truly about his search for his mom, but rather learning to accept who he has become/is becoming.
I think the drama is wrapping up nicely. The finale airs tomorrow and it might take a couple days to get subbed, but I don't want to wait until Sunday for us to talk about one episode. What day do you guys think about me posting on Friday? Alrighty -I'm off to work, see you guys later :D
