Extended Tweets pt.1
As I have said, I tend to tweet things and never mention it again here, but here I am, remedying that ;) Uh, some of this may be old news to some of you.
1. I'm really happy with Morning Musume's 9th generation members as well as "Maji desu ka ska" :D I realize I very much prefer their cute, high-tension pop image rather than their mature, sexy, image. Plus, everyone gets their own lines and shots; nobody's hogging screentime, which goes to show you the new direction of the group, I think. The only thing that irks me about this song are these lyrics, Kitto watashi mo mama mitaina, kazoku wo motte, de kou iu no yo shiawase. "Surely someday I'll be like a mother and have a family, that's what I call happiness." Sure, you could probably translate it in a way that sounds less straightforward, but I can't help but think it's perpetuating stereotypical gender roles. But that's just me thinking too much. Otherwise, great song ;)
2. OMG FLAIL! Yossi and Makoto!!! 'Dream' Morning Musume singing Renai Revolution 21!!!
Nakai and Momosu have had a long relationship together ^^ I miss Utaban.
3. Now that Shirota Yu "U" has dropped all three of his PVs, I'm waiting for the Spanish version of "Sisyphus" to come out ^^
Here he is singing about fellow D-Boys member, Wada Masato, being 28, lol. And singing GReeeeN's "Haruka" on Hanamaru Cafe.
4. The AMUSE project "Let's Try Again" is really neat and it was nice seeing some missed faces ^^
Related to that, uh, Hiraoka Yuta is effing amazing and I need more of him in my life. He was in a SP thing (?) with Erika Toda, lol. I stumbled upon it on YouTube, so here's the last part, because it's most AMUSing XD
Also, he cameo-ed in this year's THE GAME: Story #5, a;ldjfds;ljg sempai appearance FTW!! ♥
5. OMG, Tomo is going to be a vampire, yesssss lol :DDDD
6. OMG, I've missed like 7 episodes of Vampire Diaries, but tonight, I got to watch it, and O_O the thought of Damon siring Elaina is HOT ^^;;;
Eh, I'm not sure if it'll happen, because it doesn't seem right for a Season 2 development. Because once you're undead, you can't go back XD
But yea, if it did happen, I can just imagine all the hot angst we can get. The confusion, I hate him for doing this to me, but he's my sire, do I love my sire, do I love my boyfriend who is also a vampire, they are brothers, can I love them both??? That is if they actually use this version of vampire lore, where the sire is basically your master and you can't help but feel affection towards him...^^;;;
Yes, all very romanticized version of vampires, but Damon's the perfect balance for that, because he's not romanticized, he's evil (but he's not really, he just won't deny his vampire instincts to kill muhahahah). And I love it :DDD
7. tokeruyouna once asked "What categories would you want to see in a best/most drama list (eg., 'best beach scene' 'most annoying theme song' 'best drama to watch before you go to sleep' etc.)?" in this post, and I answered, "Best OTP/shipper moments."
It made me realize that my last rampant "OMG OTP" post was for Bones. Anyways, I dedicate my spiffy new tag to Rin, because she sparked in me the need to find more shippery goodness :)
8. Ehh...now that I have a bit of time, I'm gonna get on writing fic. Deadlines soon! :o
