My thoughts and prayers are with Japan. I'm very grateful to hear that most (if not all) of our beloved friends, family, and people who we consider just as close are safe or confirmed to be okay. Japan is a very prepared country when it comes to Earthquakes, so they are in good hands. That is not to say that the situation will be over soon, but they will move forward. Ganbare!

In light of everything that has happened, I thought I'd share some humor.

OMG, I jumped out of my seat, screaming, when I saw Richard Marx. I grew up with his music, and that song is particularly meaningful to me, sooo yea :DDDDD

I get "A Word A Day" (AWAD) newsletter emails, and despite its purpose of spreading knowledge about words, their origins, meanings, and usage, I usually scroll straight for the quotation at the bottom. I was procrastinating on my Remix and decided to organize my email folders. I clicked on the Spam folder to see what kinds of things Google considered spam and found 3 AWAD emails! :o
In one of those emails, I found this gem:

The feeling of being hurried is not usually the result of living a full life and having no time. It is on the contrary born of a vague fear that we are wasting our life. When we do not do the one thing we ought to do, we have no time for anything else -- we are the busiest people in the world. -Eric Hoffer, philosopher and author (1902-1983).

I'm so glad I procrastinated! lol. This quotation was highly appropriate at the time, because I was hurrying to finish Remix. I had nearly completed my original idea, but the more I looked at it, the more I couldn't justify calling it a remix, so I saved it for another time. That was about 2 days before it was due XD It's done now, and I'm quite happy with it :Db

The quotation got me thinking, how so much of our lives (at least for me, it seems) involves fighting against Time. Just because we are rushing, does that necessarily mean we are afraid of wasting our lives? I think rushing, the feeling of anxiety and adrenaline, is apart of life. We all face it one way or another, and we are living that rushed moment. Each rushed second gathers until we've reached a calm point. I wouldn't call it a full life, but I wouldn't call it a fear of wasting it either.

Why have I been posting these big questions lately? Jeez. Makes my own brain hurt XD

Well folks, looks like I'm going to stop the emotion meme. Too many to keep up, though reflecting on each day in a different light was good.
