Day 25 → A drama you plan on watching (old or new) - Gaiji Keisatsu (2009) w/ actor Watabe Atsuro ♥
First, I'll explain why this drama: I happened upon a blogger called Hamsapsukebe who reviews various dramas/movies he's seen. His username is a little dodgy, but at least he's honest? XD We share some of the same line of thinking when it comes to things like Love Exposure and Taiyou to Umi no Kyoushitsu (among other things), so I'll trust him when
he says that Gaiji Keisatsu is a thrilling, well-done (for once) plot involving fighting terrorists. He didn't like Bloody Monday so much, lol, but that's where we share different opinions :P
So, how did I fall for Watabe Atsuro? Well, it happened in a similar fashion as it had with Tanihara Shosuke; Watabe played a rebellious, witty, director of a hospital in Godhand Teru and I thought "hmm, who the heck is this guy?" lol. I looked him up and thought nothing of it :P
The next thing I know, I'm watching Juryoku Pierrot and damn, I wanna kill this antagonist...guess who it is? Watabe. He was really skinny and he seemed to have aged a bit for the role, so I was surprised to find out that it was still the Watabe that I knew. And that's what I'd like to call a string of fateful events that led me to watching several of his works including Love Exposure, Rookies, DareKissu, and Koi ga Shitai.
And the funny thing is, I'm not exactly sure what it is that draws me to him, except for the fact that he's a really great actor...and well, he ages quite well ;)
Plus, it seems I have a thing for older men Richard Dean Anderson (60). Not that I don't have a thing for younger men either Suda Masaki (17).
I really wanted to see Ai Nante Irane Yo, Natsu, but I haven't been able to locate more than 3 episodes.
But what I am looking forward to is the movie
LoveCome, which stars Karina, Tanaka Kei, Kitano Kii, and Tsukamoto Takashi :)
Eventually, I'll probably be watching Keizoku too, seeing as I'll be watching Keizoku 2:SPEC soon ;)
