I wanted to see Maya sing "Rainy Rose" and I wanted Koji and Shouma to sing "Roots of the King" as 'brothers,' because that would be epic...but neither of those things happened. However, seeing Nago-san doing IXA-cise appeased me ^^
Finally finished Decade! What's funny though, was that I thought there was 32 episodes, so I stopped at 31 last night. I come back from work today to find out that it was only 31, and I'm thinking "....I'm such a loser. I'm so stupid, I watched the ending without knowing it!"
But you know what? That just goes to show you how anti-climactic it was XD Well, the movie was obviously meant to close it, which was why, but I just laughed at the fact that the final episode went right over my head.
Anyways, I have to say that I can't hate it anymore. I think I was just expecting something different from it. I was expecting a convoluted plot which would merge near the end, yet the underlying plot was always going to be the end result. And even though I understand the episodic formula, and it was really nice to see previous riders, I guess I was expecting more...
However, I won't say it was bad. It had its amusing moments, some lovely messages about friendship and what real treasures are ;)
I adore DiEnd showing up randomly, despite his massive ego...at least he gave Tsukasa a run for his money, lol. Natsumikan-tachi are a good group and stick up for each other, and overall, it wasn't so bad after all ^^
Also, random episode with Shinkenger, omg lmao! What I realized immediately was that Sentai definitely has more of a kiddy feel to it. Kamen Rider may be made for kids as well, but it is so much better! Don't get me wrong, I might dab my feet in that section of tokusatsu as well, but Kamen Rider is it for me ^^
Lo and behold, Matsuzaka Tori as ShinkenRed. I had known him before I knew he was in tokusatsu, so that made me chuckle. And guest staring in Masahiro's show no less, since they co-stared in BeeTV's "Death Game." Which reminds me, I should start watching "Gold" soon :)
"Treasure Sniper" -Kimito Totani's single; caught my ear in one episode :)
He seriously was one of the saving graces of the show; he reminds me too much of Takeru ^^
Can't wait for DiEnd's movie to come out!
Now, I'm in Philip withdrawal. This is what happens when I've watched massive amounts of Kamen Rider in one go *sigh*
