It's pictures like these that make me love you even more:)
There's that ever-present hint of a shy boy underneath that gorgeous smile ♥

Oh Yamapi *sigh*

For some reason, this makes me think of him as a vampire. The red background with that kind of suit jacket thing...yea;P
Too bad the CM is for a PC XD
--------
I've been meaning to write a review for "JIN," but I haven't really been able to put anything into words lately. Really, all I can say is that I'm addicted. I didn't think I'd enjoy this drama, because it involves history (me and history don't mix well :P), but I started watching it and it's got a really great premise.
First, the audience sees Minakata Jin, a phenomenal brain surgeon in present day, who has become reluctant to take on complicated surgeries because of his past experience. He took on a really serious and complicated surgery in order to save his fiance's life, but she ended up in a coma...
Later on, he does take on one surgery and extracts a tumor in the shape of an embryo. He keeps that in a jar for research purposes. A couple nights later, the guy whose brain the embryo-like tumor came from awakens to steal the jar...for whatever reason.
In the midst of the struggle to get that jar back, the patient croaks, "I have to go back..." and right when the jar gets thrown into the air and both are trying to catch it, Jin lands himself, quite literally, back in history, Edo era of Japan to be exact ;P
This, then becomes the new setting of the drama, and Jin must maneuver his way through life there. He happens to save an honorable samurai of the town that night and in turn, makes a new friend of his family. Kyoutaro (the samurai) is played by Koide Keisuke (Mikoshiba from 'Rookies') and his sister is played by Ayase Haruka. Jin is played by Osawa Takao who was in the recent movie "Goemon" :D

ANYWAYS- Jin becomes this renown doctor for coming up with cures to Cholera and Syphilis, but nobody really knows who is he is or where he's from...which is going to be interesting to explain after awhile.
He's worried he'll change history and present day if he continues healing people who aren't supposed to be healed with futuristic medicine, but he learns later that Fate has a way of taking people to their deaths even if he did save them for a little longer.
He's also got a picture of him and his fiance, Miki, with him and it really seems like what he's doing in the past is affecting the future, because that picture changes...
What's even better is that there's a prostitute in the Red-Light district named Nokaze who looks exactly like Miki...so we'll see where that goes :D

What really got me hooked was the first two episodes when Jin encounters this drunk guy who helps him with a surgery. Turns out, this is not just any drunk guy, it's Sakamoto Ryouma, the guy who basically started a revolution in forming the modern government. Seeing that footnote gave me shivers. Like whooooaaa, Jin meeting this guy could be REAL serious business in terms of the future. If Jin meddles in Ryouma's affairs and somehow messes with the timeline...who knows how Japan would be now...let alone how Jin and Miki are doing...

And at the end of every episode, we get closer and closer to seeing the embryo in the jar...what mysteries will it unravel and who was that patient who wanted it?
I freaking love this show :D

Kind Shin Woo-hyung...

or Jerkface (but secretly kind) TaeKyung-sshi?

It's really hard to decide...

The pieces continue to fall into place. We can now infer that Mi Nam isn't blood related to Tae Kyung, but still....his mom left him for her dad...and you know MN and TK will end up in a strained relationship once he finds out...so how will he forgive her? How will he find a way to realize she's more important than the past?
GUH- what's more, the mom asked TK to remake the song the 'other guy' wrote for her...that's just cruel! >:(
I get that you love that other guy, but to abandon your own son? Now, what gives you the right to call yourself a mom to the twins? MN is going to be torn too...she wants to know her potential 'mom,' but she's going to end up hurting TK too...:/
Serious drama right here :P
BUT-what's great is now practically everyone knows MN is a girl. Jeremy's reaction was priceless. He looked angry at first, but he was totally relieved he wasn't falling for a guy. Totally made me think of Toma at that moment :D
And then Jeremy wants to hug her and pinch her cheeks and spoil her like a girl and TK's all grumpyface trying to restrain him, LOL!
BUT OH- ShinWoo can finally let loose a little; treat her more like a girl and be all cute and whatnot...but things really escalate and MN can't hide her feelings for TK much longer.
I won't spoil it for you, but it was great!

Too complicated for retail XD
