One of my best friends was in a car accident today. She's going to be all right, and I'm being a little dramatic, but she has a sprained neck and a totaled car. She's going to have a lot to deal with, so please just keep her in your thoughts.
A heads-up about The OC: they are trying out the Wednesday time slot this week, but also keeping the Thursday time slot. That means two new episodes this week, so make sure you don't miss one of them. If you can't see the second episode of the season on Wednesday,
view it here where it's already available to watch at the
Fox MySpace.
"Sethummer" looks bleak, don't you think? I totally agreed with Taylor's assessment of the situation. Summer isn't returning Seth's calls... she just left Newport without really saying goodbye... things were awkward while she was there... it just all looks bleak. And this "Che character" is a prick anyway. Look, I care about the environment, too, but I don't turn every situation into a way to bring up environmentalism, vegetarianism, or liberal politics.
I'm glad that Seth betrayed Ryan to Sandy and Kirsten because Sandy was right... Seth very well could have saved Ryan's life. He could have gotten into a fight trying to kill Volchok and he could have ended up dead himself. What sucks is that it's probably going to cause a rift between Seth and Ryan.
I totally understand how Julie and Ryan are feeling. I understand that they want Volchok to pay for his crime. But there's got to be a better way. Sandy should have told Julie that there was a better way instead of scolding her for having Volchok followed and then handing the info to Ryan. She was only doing what she thought was best to honor her daughter's memory by having her killer killed. Of course, she shouldn't have been putting Ryan in danger, but he wanted it as much as she did.
I still love Taylor... toward the end of season three I warmed up to her (I hated her at the beginning when she manipulated everyone and was basically a conniving bitch). Now she's one of my favorite characters. I loved what she had to say to Summer. I hate that she got married in Paris... I mean, what the hell? I guess we'll have to wait and see where the heck that storyline is going. Why is she seeking a divorce, and why did she come back to Newport? I know she said she needed to tell her mom of the situation, but I can't help but think there is more than meets the eye on this.
Kaitlin... the little bitch is stealing from the Sudanese! Haha, oh well... it's to be expected of Kaitlin Cooper. I love her interaction with Brad and Eric (Luke's brothers). I hope somehow Luke comes back into the mix... we haven't heard from him in a long time. I find it hard to believe he just stays in Oregon and never comes back to visit his mom and brothers (and friends... did he come to Marissa's funeral?) back in Newport Beach. Anyway, I'm liking the Julie/Kaitlin dynamic and I hope that Kaitlin takes it easier on her mom, but I also hope that Julie stops being a zombie.
Anyway, I can't wait for the next episode... the sucky thing about watching the episodes online is that you miss the whole "scenes from next week's episode" bit at the end.
