Yesterday, dollymatters and I spent practically the whole day together. First, we went swimming at my house for a couple of hours. Unfortunately, I had stuck my cell phone in the pocket of my swim suit so I could take it outside in case someone called... the shorts were really baggy and I forgot that my phone was in my pocket. I didn't realize it until I had been in the pool for about fifteen minutes... needless to say, my cell phone is ruined. At least it wasn't a nice one... I broke my nice one in half a month or two ago and have been using an older one (that's basically crap, but it works most of the time). Now I don't know what I'm going to do... maybe my parents will get me a new one for my birthday (which is this Friday).

After we swam, we felt kind of like pizza. Instead of ordering it, we thought it might be fun to go sit down inside Pizza Hut for a change. We hadn't done that since we were little kids. The deep dish cheese pizza pan or whatever is so awesome.

We finished our pizza and still had a lot of time to spare before we were supposed to meet Brody at the movies, so we went to the mall for a few hours and wandered around aimlessly. We spent too much money. Express Men was having a sale, so I bought a light yellow shirt. I also bought a lime green shirt from GAP for only $5.99. I was kind of upset because I bought a blue one (same one, different color) a few weeks ago for around $15. Oh well... sales happen and then I get more clothes for less cash. Works for me. I love nice clothes that are cheap. I don't go shopping a lot, but I do know where the sale racks are in my favorite stores.

Last night, we met Amelia, Brody, Lane, Korri, and Brooke at Grapevine Mills to see The Lake House. It was a lot of fun seeing everyone... we can have fun doing anything. Since some of them are theatre kids, they had a lot to say about Keanu Reeves and his acting. I agree... he's not the best actor. I still enjoyed the movie, though. I commented with more of my thoughts here. As always, Sandra Bullock was amazing... if she wasn't in it, I might not have enjoyed it as much.

OBTW - grrliz made icons from The Land Before Time. OMG! They're at her icon journal here. That was one of the first VHS tapes I ever owned, right there with An American Tail and The Little Mermaid. I'm so excited... I love that movie. Does anyone know if they made a DVD?
