I have SO MANY pictures for you... on Kat's laptop. Someday they will make the journey to the communal Owens computer for your enjoyment. Hopefully that day will be sometime this week.
The beach was sweet. I got to spend some time by myself, as well as with Meghan, Shannon and Amy Burke. Wonderful.
I am excited for summer and for Catholic University in the fall.
My summer class starts tomorrow! I am taking Sociology on TWTH. The whole week at the beach I couldn't wait to get back to class. Hopefully I will be ready to be done with classes once I graduate college... cause I just eat them up now!
Tonight I hung out at Robby's for a while. Robby and I listened to music for like an hour because Bryan got called into work and blah blah blah... he played the Killers CD for me as well as THE MARS VOLTA which was SO INTENSE. I let him steal Kelly Clarkson and System. Then Lottes came over as well as Josh and Peter. Then STEPHANIE WILL came over! I left before Bryan got there, but I'm sure that was exciting as well.
Lottes brought this delicious shrimp and some barbeque sandwiches, which turned out to be made out of a DEER that he SHOT and KILLED and COOKED IN A CROCK POT. Amazing. Matthew Lottes, you scored some points with that one.
It has been a good few weeks of finishing finals, hanging with Bryan and Robby and JESSE LOZIER... watching movies and making music and so on. I turned in my last finals, graduated, went to the beach, got my grades (3.55, not too bad right?!), got home. Now I'm getting work lined up, hanging with my family, and READING LIKE CRAZY. I bought Tess of the D'Urbervilles (Thomas Hardy) and Dubliners (James Joyce) at the bookstore on Saturday. I have been reading Tess from the library, but now I own her. Tonight at Border's I was looking at poetry anthologies. I wrote down some three-liners (they are not real Haikus, as Robby pointed out!) which are SO GOOD... they are in the car though. I'll post them later this week.
I bought so many CD's, too! Madonna, The Immaculate Collection; Kelly Clarkson, Breakaway; Top Gun Soundtrack; and (the best of them!) System of a Down, Toxicity. I want to look into the new Starting Line CD now, too... and Robby has me thinking about the Jay Z Unplugged Album as well.
STOP RIGHT THERE--THIS IS REAL. Pay attention for just a second.
On June 26th at 7 pm, Wilco and The Roots will be playing a show TOGETHER (yes, THE SAME SHOW) at Merriweather Post Pavilion. You should kill me if I don't go. Email me if you want to come.
Alright, for real... I'll go to bed.
Sorry for so many promises and so little delivery. Wait for it, the photo blogging is coming.
