The upside is that no one died this year and they didn't go bankrupt so they will be open next season. here's a little wiki-provided rundown of why that's notable (and perhaps uncoincidentally why this will always be my favorite amusement park). Seriously. Click the link, look at the picture, and then think about what you're looking at for a moment. (For the record that particular ride was never open anytime that I attended the park.)
