A Comic You Should Read
Hey, no real reason I brought this up, except that she just updated her currently running comic, which made me think. Think about how this lady writes and draws some very, very nice comics. So nice, in fact, that she has been a serious influence on my own drawing, such as it is.
Two things of her's I'd particularly like to highlight:
1. Ice - Currently being updated. Takes place in a future (I think) where there's something wrong so it's cold - like Russia-cold - all the time. Has a little bit of steampunk vibe - not sure why. Maybe because it's in England?
2. Demonology 101 - High school kids, one of whom is a demon or half-demon or something have life and battle the forces of stuff. Or something. I read it a long time ago, but I was great. Not as anime/emo as it sounds, unless you're in to that sort of thing, in which case it totally is.
So you should go check her out - both of those comics can be found on her site, which I have already linked to twice, and will do a third time. Enjoy!
