she drinks red vinegar
on her french fries
and waits for the petals
outside her window
to wilt
she's just like that
they remind us
we're jealous
because she's his
summer goddess
but she stays unsure
when it's dark inside
and she's without
she asks
will tounge always
worship beauty?
she always knows
the answers to her own questions
and i've watched her
let those luscious fingers
float away like bubbles
she'll wait for him
from here to there
but she won't sit
while he crouches
beside another girl
who's hair is nicer
and she's afraid
to scare him away
so her jealousy
turns white
and her voice
turns powdery
and her joy in life
is throwing hay
down to her pony
through a hole in the ceiling
i'm by myself now
and i wish she would cry
so i wouldn't feel so bad
telling her i did
