But is there any vampire who wishes to assist me in hunting the blob?

I think I have an idea what might be done to stop it.

I would have to hear the idea first before agreeing to anything. Only a great fool agrees to something before they know what it is.

I plan on removing a piece of the blob for analysis. And... for tasting.

If it smells like blood, if it tastes like blood... then it might be blood.

Blood is not the only thing I smell on that thing so seriously I am not trying to taste it.

Well if it manages to capture me then I'll consider what you are suggesting. Right now I have no interest in eating anything that has been rolling around in sewage. Yeah, that is not going to happen.

What does illness have to do with something being unappetizing? Would you want to eat a sandwich that has been floating around in sewage? Even if it would not cause you serious harm in the long run.
