[Looks up, starting as she realizes that she's on the second level. Tries for a smile when she sees Padme, but it comes out strained. Rubs the back of her neck underneath where she's left all her hair down.]

I saw my father, Padme. [Turns away, confusion written in her eyes.] I know he died when Alderaan was destroyed... I watched as it happened, I felt it. [Shakes her head and turns to face Padme again, her voice pained.] I want to believe it was him, but-

[Softly, almost whispered.]

Bail Organa.

Bail Organa is... Dead?

[Padme really should get used to the people she loves dying, but she hasn't yet] Oh. I... I didn't know...

[The pain on Padme's face wrenches a little at Leia's heart. Gently lays a hand on Padme's shoulder, unsure of what to say.]

I'm- sorry. The loss of my father was difficult for everyone. I didn't know... that you were close to him.

He was a good man. I can still only pray that I can live up to the legacy he left behind him. [Steps away, letting her hand fall back to her side.] His sacrifice gave us determination, and brought hope back to those repressed by the Empire. He will never be forgotten.

[Her eyes slide closed and she turns away from Padme as she serupticiously wipes her eyes.]

[When she turns to face Padme once more, her face is serious, all sign of her sorrow gone, and she shakes her head.]

Padme, something is happening. My father is here- but he's not. I saw him in my dreams, in an old building that was infested with- some kind of humanoid creatures. [She refuses to use the word 'ghost,' because ghosts are silly superstitions. When people die, they are absorbed into the Force.]

I'm not strong in the Force and this doesn't feel right. Why am I dreaming of him? And- [hesitates, then pulls aside all of her hair, touching the bruised, marked spot on the back of her neck.] Why did this mark that appeared int he dream appear on my neck?

...Are you sure they aren't just dreams?

[Let's her hair fall back into place, a confused look on her face.]

If it weren't for the mark on my neck, I would think so. But it wasn't there before the dreams appeared. [Shudders a little, remembering how the woman came at her in the dream, trying to strangle her.] One of the creatures attack me in the dream. It touched my neck and the mark appeared.

[Reaches to finger the spot on her neck, wincing a little as she does.]
