Feels like a hit an run all over again

So this morning when I was pulling into the school parking lot I was not aware of the humongous (?) amount of ice and my breaks decided not to work when I tried to turn down a lane...and I ran into the curb. Well...onto the curb. It sounded painful. So now there is yet another lovely gash on my car, this time around the headlight. At least I was late so there was nobody else around. But then somebody in a truck did the exact same thing when I was walking in and apparently got stuck or something because their truck was sitting their on the curb for the rest of the day.

Then I almost fell walking in once again due to the extreme ice. And my big ass boots.
