Kacie had left at like 2 that afternoon with her doctor-boyfriend who was takin' her to Las Vegas for the weekend, leavin' her Santa Monica beach house all to me. She tried real heard to pretend like she was givin' me the speech, the one about not having any parties while she was gone, no drinking, and definitely no boys. But I could tell, Kacie

I made short work of getting beers for me and Spike before I leaned up against the counter and looked around before I spotted the Osborn brats with Tyler's girlfriend and some other kids that I vaguely recognized from their school. I groaned as I looked back over at Spike. "Am I ever off the clock?"
And almost like they were reading my mind a couple of the teenage slayers from Faith and Spike's school came walking by. "Huh. Are we the creepy old guys at the high school party?" I asked him, which was almost cool cause it wasn't like I really had the chance to do this when I was a teenager. And damn, some of the girls here were hot.
"Some of these chicks have gotta be legal, right?" I asked him with a shrug.

"While you, mate, get to 'watch' the birds in their uniforms, frolicking about, I my good man, get pummeled, daily by the chicks in this place." He didn't seem quite convinced on how that would be better. Maybe it was just me.
"Right, okay. Not only do I get punched in the face, many a times a day, but I also get knocked down, with either, them jumping on me, or me pullin' them down, do you catch my drift?"
Pickin' up my beer, I took another sip and shrugged, "Perhaps I'm a dirty old man, sod all, I love my job anyway. Guess you have to be a vampire to understand. Hangin' with slayer's all day, then goin' home to one, yeah, life is good right about now," I grinned at him and finshed off my beer, settin' it back on the counter and tilted my head when I felt a tingle up me spine.
Turnin' around, I grinned, "Not quite agin', pet," I said as my grin turned into a smile.

Turning around I gave the once over to a girl who looked a little too familiar for comfort. Shit. She wasn't Manticore was she? Of course not. Me and Max were the only growed up Manticore castoffs this year.
"What? I'm not old." I said with a scowl. "I'm only twenty one. How old are you?" She had to be twenty one too. Please, let her be twenty one and not say, sixteen.
I smirked at her slyly. "Never too old to take in the view anyways." I said as I raked my eyes over her deliberately.

"You're a dirty old man, Spike. But I trust you won't do anything that would make you lose those important parts you are so fond of. I bet Buffy has a horrible temper when provoked."
Looking back at the guy I hadn't met yet I smirked at his comment about my age. He was cute. He also knew he was cute. Cocky guys always cracked me up. Made me want to take them down a peg or two for fun.
"No, I'm twenty. Which means I could take any one of these minors that are at least 16 and make them scream my name and it would only be a misdemeanor. Sucks for you. Twenty-one makes it a felony."

"Yes, she does. I happen to like that about her, the whole takin' it out on me thing." What? A vamp has to get his kicks somewhere, especially when anger leads to other naughty things.
I took another drag as I watched her deliberately make Alec weak in his knee's.
"She's got you there, mate," I said and nodded as I went and got a beer before headin' back. I wondered what my Slayer was doin' or if she was home by now. Figured I'd get rightly pissed here, then head off to see her, but not quite yet.
"How's the tease-fest goin'?" I grinned as I slid back into my spot against the counter.

This chick was ridiculously hot but hey what do you know? So am I. She looked a lot like Max which made me kind of wanna play with her a little bit. But with the getup she was wearing? Definitely not Max. Besides, Gracie was way hotter.
"She's got me nowhere." I said to Spike as he leaned up against the counter again. Killing my beer I grabbed another before leering down at this chick again. "I'm Alec by the way. Do you have a name or do you just want me to call you Misdemeanor?" I grinned at her as I took another sip before looking over at Spike.
