Who: Obito and Kakashi
What: After meeting up for the first time, Kakashi and Obito arrange a secondary meeting for dinner and drinks, but it leads to unexpected events
Where: Dinner
When: Evening after work about a week ago

Eyes drifted over the Uchiha for a long moment, and Kakashi plied away the bandana around his head, allowing his scarred eye to be seen. "I owe Gai my life." he murmured. "Not only has he saved my own, but he has given me a new outlook on life." A fist clenched. "I was such a fool when I was younger." he growled suddenly. "I should have been more open... I shouldn't have let my father's suicide get to me like that." He hated himself for that... for losing the time he could have had with Obito and Rin and covering it with brooding. "No, this is our time... I can talk about Gai forever, but us... we should cherish this time." His grip tightened on his friend, and he nosed his shoulder lightly, inhailing his Obito-smell... a scent that had stayed with the other since he was younger. "Don't you dare feel guilty. Things happened, the past has happened... Both of us regret things, but we are here now, and alive. Healthy, relatively... but all this drinking shouldn't happen to often or we won't be healthy for much longer." Trying to tease a little. He nosed into Obito's cheek, feeling the light scratchyness where he had obviously shaved. "I'm glad you're happy. " he whispered.

Obito looked at the scarred eye, and lightly touched it. Dropping his hand quickly, he nodded. "I owe Gai too then. He saved the life of my friend." Listening to Kakashi talk about thier youth, Obito shook his head. "Look, Kakashi, don't beat yourself up over that. You're supposed to be stupid in your youth so that you don't make the same mistakes. It builds character and makes us who we are. Besides. . . I know what it's like, loosing a father." He gave Kakashi a sad smile, and reached over to fluff his hair. "It's hard. I think I became a little like you for awhile myself."

Being held tightly by Kakashi, Obito leaned into the embrace and sighed. It was comforting and suprisingly warm, and while it was a bit strange to be hugged by Kakashi, he didn't mind. Swallowing, Obito nodded a little. "I know I shouldn't, but. . . I hate hurting people. That hasn't changed at all. I was always the sensitive kid who was crying because someone was hurt, or because someone had been in an accident and was okay. I grew out of that, more or less, only tears got replaced by guilt." Obito laughed mirthlessly against Kakashi, and sighed again. "Not really sure which is worse though, tears or guilt."

Taking up the bottle of wine in Obito's hand, Kakashi took a slow swig, and swallowed it slowly, smiling warmly. He held the bottle up above their heads. "To Gai." And handed the bottle back to his friend, resting his head on Obito's shoulder. "I'm trying not to. But sometimes it's very difficult not to blame myself. I don't want to think about it tonight, though... I only want to concentrate on what we're doing here. Spending time together, enjoying each others company. Despite the slight chill in the air, Kakashi was feeling very warm from the alcohol, along with the company of Obito. "You haven't hurt me." he tried to make his friend understand, and pulled his head back enough to stare into both those eyes. "You shouldn't feel upset or guilty. Just... accept what has happened, and we'll continue from then on, okay?" And lightly touched Obito's cheek.

Taking the bottle back from Kakashi, he took a drink as well, and sat it down again. "Well, If it helps, ever. . . I forgive you for being such an asshole as a kid," he said with a smile. "But yeah. Let's change the subject to something fun. Like favorite movies and books or something. Tell me what your favorite book is outside of Jiraiya's works." The warmth of being close to Kakashi and the alcohol made him feel warm all over, and he knew that his cheeks were especially rosey--they always got that way when he was drunk. Looking at Kakashi, he nodded as thier eyes met. "All right, I'll. . . we'll just accept things as unchangable, and I'll try and get over my guilt." Grinning, Obito laughed. "If I keep smiling and laughing, I know it will improve my mood. I--" As Kakashi's finger's touched his cheek, he felt his breath hitch as he paused, mid thought. "I, ahh. . . I will think positive, and then good things will happen. Right? Right."

"Then I'm glad you forgive me." Kakashi said with a little tickle of a laugh. He returned the smile, watching Obito's face, taking it in that he was here... talking, teasing, being with the Uchiha. His own face was warm due to the drink, and he lazily slumped into his friend, "Ahhh... Icha Icha..." A slow grin, keeping his eyes on Obito, despite his single eye being blurred. His hand remained on Obito's cheek for a long moment, before lightly caressing down over his chin, down to his shoulder. "Positive is always good. And Icha Icha is positive. You need to read it. I think you would like it, despite it being entirely full of romance and smut." Kakashi murmured low in a chuckle. "Anything I can do to keep you smiling, 'Bito. Even if I have to read the novels to you myself."

Obito kept grinning, and patted Kakashi's head as he leaned against him. "IchaIcha. . . I think you missed the part where I asked you to mention something outside of Jiraiya's works." Snickering, he took the bottle away from Kakashi. He sucked in his breath as Kakashi's hand slid down his face, feeling warmer. "I'm cutting you off sir, you've had too much to drink. Hand over the beer please, it's for your own good." Laughing, he continued to grin. "But, if Ichaicha is that important to you. . .I will read it. And take it seriously, for you."

"Hahhh... I apologize." Kakashi said with a hint of a grin, scratching the top of his head lightly with his free hand. He leaned into the touch like a touch-deprived canine, and smiled when Obito took the bottle from his hand. "I'll make sure to give you lots of novels to read in your spare time. I even have a few sci-fi titles you can enjoy..." His voice had dipped lower by that point, the alcohol thick in his blood. "Awww... spoil sport." he teased happily, and laughed in return and lightly nosed into Obito's ear. "That means you have to stop drinking too." And moved to settle back after his words. "What time do you have to get home?"

Obito noticed that Kakashi liked the pat, and moved a little closer, to pet his hair more. "Mmm, good. I'll have lots to read when I am bored then," he said. He laughed as Kakashi nosed his ear. "Heyyy, hat tickles you know." He stuck his tongue out, and rolled his eyes. "I do not have to stop. And tomorrow's Saturday, right? I don't have to be home at any particular time then."

The patting felt very nice to Kakashi and he smiled warmly, leaning into Obito's touch. "Mmmh..." he grinned slightly when Obito mentioned his nosing tickling, and he nudged up against him again, feeling their arms brush, hands teasingly touch as though waiting to unfold, but not having the courage to do anything more. "Yes... I suppose you're right." he said with a lazy smile, and nosed again slowly. "Good... I don't think we'll be getting much rest tonight." His voice was a practical purr, his hand moving to touch Obito's thigh. "We'll have to be careful not to fall asleep here."

Digging his fingers into the fluff that was Kakashi's hair, Obito lightly scratched the top of Kakashi's head, wondering if the cute reactions would continue. "You really like your head scratched, don't you?" he asked smiling. Laughing more as Kakashi nosed him again, Obito was surprisd as he felt Kakashi's hand on his thigh, and felt his whole face flush. "Ahh, rest huh? Just what do you have in mind?" Obito asked, raising an eyebrow. "And there's no need to worry about falling asleep up here, the ground is not soft enough for me." He leaned against Kakashi, head resting against his shoulder. "Unless you're offering to be my pillow. That might work."

A loud murring noise suddenly emulated from Kakashi's throat and he wanted to lay back to enjoy that touch even more. He leaned into Obito's hand, groaning a little and nodded eagerly. "Oh yes..." he mumbled, his lazy eyes growing lazier by the minute. "That feels wonderful..." Definately enjoying it. Now if only Obito's hand dipped down behind his ear... that would have his foot tapping. His lithe fingers caressed the material of his friend's pants, and he warily opened his eyes, meeting the raven's, watching when he moved to lean his head on his shoulder. His heart suddenly beat faster in his chest, and he swallowed thick for a moment, before caressing his hand up and over Obito's hair. "As long as you don't drool on me, then I guess I could allow that." He nosed the other's head.

Obito snorted, the way Kakashi was acting it was as if he'd started doing something more scandolous then scratching his head. He kept scratching, amused at how happy it seemed to make his friend. He'd always known Kakashi was a dog person, but he'd never ealized that the man was nearly a canine himself. "Heh, you're easy to please," Obito said. As Kakashi started to caress his leg, he lifted his head again, to look at Kakashi. He opened his mouth to say something, but found he didn't really have anything to say. After a long, quet pause, he swallowed hard. "I ahh. . .don't drool," he said. He was fairly certain that this was a little more then friendly. "I've been told I snore a little, though. But I only drool when I'm sick."

But if more people understood this side of Kakashi, they would know this was just normal behaviour for him. He loved being petted, scritched, tended to in this manner. Especially when Obito's hands were so... gentle, yet talented. Being around canine himself, he had taken on that role for himself. "What's wrong with being easily pleased?" his voice a mere breath by that point, very content with what Obito was doing right then. His hand remained on his friends' thigh, still stroking lightly, watching the other through lazy eyes. "Mm..? Well I wouldn't mind too much, but I get drooled on all the time by my pack. And if you snore, I'll just stuff my hand in your mouth." Chuckling low.

"Nothing wrong with being easy to please," said Obito softly. "I'm pretty easy to please myself, I suppose. . .chocolate and hugs. I'm popular around Valentine's day, but I'm not exactly manly, am I?" Laughing, his hand slid mostly out of Kakashi's hair, focusing on skritching the nape of his neck. "Not like that really matters." It was strange being so close to Kakashi, yet it felt nice being close and touching him. Obito nosed Kakashi as he made himself comfortable on his friend's shoulder. "Mmm, you'd like sticking your hand in my mouth, wouldn't you? Pervert. . . "

"Of course not. If there was, I'd be worried." Kakashi said with a little grin. "Really now?" Piquing his interest. "Maa~ I will have to keep that in mind. Easy to please, chocolate, flowers, hugs, foot rubs maybe?" The silver grinned wider, if not a little lazier, and he licked his lips once, feeling when Obito's fingers draped down to his neck. His breath gave a slow hitch, and he rolled his eyes back, shivering. His own free hand moved to drape around the back of Obito's neck, caressing the longer strands of hair through his fingers, squeezing his other hand in the raven's thigh when he nosed into him. For some reason, those last words made the heat flush to Kakashi's face, and he swallowed thickly, breathing in a slow breath. Eyes hazed over, the silver licked his lips once, and murmured out, "Maybe... you would like it more..." Shifting himself to stare at Obito's face. His hand moved around, caressing his bottom lip gently with the pad of his thumb. He had no idea why he was doing this, or what was making him do this. He understood the flirtation, but this was a whole other league...

"Hey, you sound like you're trying to flirt with me," Obito said, laughing. "I'm not really so much for flowers though. They're nice but I like giving them to people more. Besides, Misa might eat them, I don't want her getting sick." He sighed, Kakashi's fingers feeling so nice on his neck, and the hand on his thigh. . . . looking back into Kakashi's eyes, and feeling his thumb on his lips, Obito leaned forward. "Mm, I don't know. Maybe it should be the other way around. . . your mouth, my fingers." Feeling his breath against Kakashi's lips, kind of. . . freezes for a moment, feeling a bit akward, wondering how they'd gotten to this point.

"Maybe I am trying to flirt." Kakashi responded as-a-matter-of-factly, and ran his hand through Obito's hair, massaging slowly into the back of his scalp. "It's nice to recieve gifts, but I feel better giving them." His other fingers caressed deftly over the material of Obito's pants, and when their eyes met, it was like... something just... happened. Something caught in the back of Kakashi's throat, panging hard in his chest, like a warning, or something... but he couldn't help falling into the pit of desire, or the dark eyes staring so wantonly into his own. His own breath hitched slowly, feeling the warmth, despite the chill surrounding them. Kakashi couldn't have felt so hot in so many years. "Maybe... Maybe... I want your mouth on my mouth instead..." his voice a bare whisper, eyes barely open by that point. He shifted his head slowly, and lightly moved his head forward, touching lips to lips, brushing so gently.

"Why would you flirt with me?" Obito asked, laughing. He smiled a little, and nosed Kakashi. "Not that I mind, but you can't expect to give me something and not get something in return." As soon as his said that, he felt something click, the look in Kakashi's eyes, the hand on his thigh. It had gone beyond Obito's normal comfort zone, but feeling Kakashi's lips brush against his, it didn't matter. He kissed him harder, tongue licking across Kakashi's lips as he wrapped his arms around Kakashi pulling him closer. It felt unexpectedly good to kiss Kakashi, so he pulled him tight, not even thinking of letting go.

The question and statement went unanswered, but the smile would remain on Kakashi's mind for the rest of his life. There had been something there, something that... if both men had been sober, they would have grasped a better understanding, and would probably have never even considered this and option in their relationship. Inside, Kakashi knew he would regret this in the morning, but he didn't want to hurt Obito. He didn't want to run away from this... Not when it felt so, so good... The arms around his body made Kakashi groan, and when he felt Obito part his lips and slide his tongue against his mouth mouth, he hitched a breath through his nose, eyes opening just a hint, and very cautiously opened his own mouth, touching the bare tip of his tongue to his friend's. A jolt of electricity passed through him at that. It... was very different to kissing Gai. Gai was excited when he kisses, but... god, that man COULD kiss. He was raw and confident. But with Obito, despite him being more experienced than probably Gai and himself put together, it was cautious and slow, steady... learning.

Obito had always ben the type of man to act without actually thinking things through, and at the moment, his arms around Kakashi and his lips firmly pressed it, he was no longer caring. Thoughts didn't matter, and though he knew he'd regret it later, it felt too good to stop. Slowly sliding his tongue across Kakashi's, Obito felt his whole body tingle with excitment. A little, soft moan escaped his lips as he slowly broke the kiss, half lidded eyes looking at Kakashi. Leaning his forehead against Kakashi's, his breath shaky, he said, "Ahh, so. . . that's. . . That was. . . Oh wow. Um. Hi?"

Not that Kakashi minded, of course. Not right now, anyway. His arms slinked around Obito's neck, caressing the back of it slowly with inexperienced hands, soothing into the back of his head and stroking his hair slowly, coaxing, caressing. Opening his mouth more, Kakashi gently caressed his own tongue against Obito's, moaning in response, the weight in his mind almost lifting, giving him a floaty sensation. And then... it had ended, leaving Kakashi breathless, hands clenching into raven hair and cloth alone. He nuzzled their foreheads in a gentle gesture, breathing out slowly. "Hnhh... that felt... very... very good..." he commented lowly.

Obito laughed, and shook his head. "Maybe I just haven't kissed anyone in awhile, but that. . . that was. . . really good," he said. He stroked the back of Kakashi's head, suddenly feeling a little akward and strange. While it had felt good, Kakashi. . . Kakashi was his friend. Kissing was a little more friendly then he wanted to be. Smiling, he nosed Kakashi. "I ahh.. . . hope it was everything you wanted your first kiss to be," he said, laughing. "Even if it's not your first." If he just played it off as harmless, maybe it would be okay. He leaned his head on Kakashi's shoulder again, and the smell of his friend's body sent that electricity through him again, that excitment. Pulling back, he reached for the bottle of wine to take a drink, and handed it to Kakashi, his hand shaking a little.

"Really?" Kakashi murmured his response, and then smiled slowly, his face warm and flushed from the alcohol and the heat of the moment. Kakashi really had no space for rational thoughts, and at that moment in time, it didn't really matter. He felt light headed and dizzy of the best kinds, and the kiss had felt enlightening. He knew everything would return to normal in the morning. The nosing was returned briefly, and then the silver shifted his head back so Obito could lean on his shoulder. He felt the other move again, and looked confused for a moment, before taking the wine, meeting Obito's eyes again again. He swallowed some more wine, licking his lips and grinned lazily. "Maybe we should start heading back." he murmured.

"Mmm, I know I'm right," Obito said, smiling. Pulling Kakashi up was more difficult then he'd expected, and when Kakashi steadied himself on Obito, he felt his cheeks flush, remembering the kiss. Reaching out to steady him, Obito dropped his hand when Kakashi moved away, and dutifully took his share of the bottles they'd been drinking. Part of his was a little sad that the moment they'd shared was over, but he new it was for the best. Kakashi was just a friend, after all. The kiss hadn't meant anything beyond a shared affection they felt towards each other.

"Ahh. . . if we get a taxi, I think my place is maybe ten minutes from here?" Obito said as Kakashi put his arm around him. Leaning into Kakashi, he put his arm around the other man's waist, and started to head in the direction they'd come from. "Mmm, my he. . . my body feels kinda floaty," Obito replied, nudging Kakashi's head with hisown. Moving carefully, he headed back to the road, wobbling along with Kakashi, his mind confused but happy.

The kiss was something that would most likely linger on their minds for weeks to come, but as Obito had thought... it was affection, and a thanks that they were both alive and well. It was just... so strange how natural it had occured. Kakashi was happy with what had happened, at least in this moment, because he could not concentrate entirely on the reality or what might happen between them in the future.

"Taxi. Riiight... that sounds like the best option..." Kakashi murmured out low, smiling lazily, his eyes hazed with pleasent feelings. His arms draped around Obito as they walked, keeping them both up as they walked down the road. He nosed lightly against his friend slowly, and squeezed tight of the raven, watching out for a taxi. Several came by, and he outstretched his arm, flexing out his fingers.

As soon as the taxi pulled over, Kakashi opened up the door, shuffling himself inside, licking his lips as he gazed at Obito from the window, his eyes slowly dark and curling his fingers into the seatbelt.

Obito felt giddy walking down the street with his arm around Kakashi, holding himself upright. I was a nice, warm feeling, and kept him smiled. At the same time though, there was confusion roiling in him--Kakashi was his friend, and he'd kissed him. Didn't that mean something? Shouldn't it?

He was in a daze as Kakashi hailed that cab, and when the door opened, watched Kakashi slid in. He could see Kakashi lick his lips and it made him shiver, thinking about the kiss. Shaking his head, he slid in the cab, and looked at Kakashi briefly. "Ahh, take us to the Nakafuto Apartment buildings, please. South entrance."

The silver watched Obito with a lazy, drunk intent, his eyes hazed over in a happy, giddy way. He sighed out plesently when the car took off, and he moved to lean his head on Obito's shoulder, still caressing hold of the wine bottle in his hand. The kiss... they could talk about it and think more of it in the morning. Right now... they needed to relax and have some more quality time to be friends, men.

"It's a nice night." He commented idly, watching the other cars as the taxi drove off towards Obito's apartment. His fingers curled slowly into his friend's shirt again, nuzzling very lightly, inhailing his scent, filling his senses with an unusually calmness that felt different with Gai. "We should do this more often..."

Putting his am around Kakashi and smiling, Obito felt very comfortable. "Yeah, we should," Obito said. "It'll be nice to spend more evenings like this together, drinking or not." He wasn't sure if that was an invitation to the kissing as well, but the rest of it, he definetly wanted. Strengthening thier friendship was so vital, to Obito.

"The weather really is nice," Obito said as they pulled up to his building. He paid the driver and got out, tugging Kakashi to come with. "My place is this way," he said, walking Kakashi towards a nice apartment building. "Elevator, we're on the eleventh floor."

It was nice how comfortable they both were, considering how... constipated Kakashi was with his emotions and showing them usually with other people. It would have scared him, if he had entire control of his mind at that moment in time. He was looking forward to being able to spend more time with Obito. "Whatever we do in the future, as long as it doesn't involve masses of people, will be enjoyable to me. Mm, I know we are still getting used to each other, but I feel so... so concious and comfortable with you."

Getting himself out of the car, Kakashi stumbled slightly, but felt Obito tug him towards the apartment. His eyes widened a little. "Eleventh floor... That's quite impressive." He said with a tease, slowly sobering, but not quite enough to walk properly. He poked the elevator to go up, waiting for it to come down, and when the doors opened, he moved inside, grasping hold of the rail, pressing the '11' button.

The silence was oddly comforting, the slight buzz of the lights in the elevator humming softly in his ears. Kakashi's eyes shut slowly, and he smiled lazily.

"Mmm, well, not even if Gai showed up?" Obito asked. "That would be nice. . . or maybe some other friends. . . But. . . For now, just us is good. There's still. . . so much that we have to talk about." Arm back around Kakashi, they stumbled together to the apartment building and the elevator.

"There's nothing really impressive about it," Obito said, rubbing his nose as they stumbled inside the elevator. He held onto the rails in a corner, and grinned lopsidedly. He studied Kakashi as they rode the elevator silently, thinking and wondering about him. It had bee so long since they had been kids together, and yet it had been so easy to be together again. It made him feel warm inside, and he smiled. It had been the same with Rin; despite the time apart it had been easy to reform that friendship and more. When the elevator doors opened, Obito wandered back to Kakashi and gave him a hug, before hobbling towards his door with Kakashi, fumbling for his keys.

That made Kakashi smile slowly, and he lazily stared at Obito as he spoke, watching how his lips moved, and the way Obito's own eyes were lazy. "I don't mind a few friends, but... parties, and raves, and all the things those youths like to do is not really my thing." He said with a little amused smile.

"Mhh... I live on the ground floor because of my dogs, so I haven't been to anything higher than the fifth floor of an apartment building." Kakashi watched Obito as he stumbled, and followed after him in a similar manner. The feeling of the elevator moving made the silver's stomach churn slowly, but he was careful with where he stood. Having the other dark eyes on his own was both... exciting and comforting. He returned the warm smile, his face bright and flushed with alcohol. His smile could not get any bigger even if he tried... His cheeks were beginning to hurt.

The hug, however, caught him off guard, and Kakashi tensed for a moment, but... before he could even return it, Obito was already beginning to head towards his apartment. So instead he slumped heavily into the Uchiha and nestled his face against the other's shoulder, grinning stupidly. "You smell good." he murmured out.

Obito snorted. "The only thing I go to in big groups is work parties and stuff," Obito said. "I'll go out to a bar with people, or someplace, but not often. I rather go in smaller groups to have fun. So I think you're safe, there."

"Mmm, well. . .the eleventh floor isn't that exciting," Obito said. "The view's okay but not great. But I like it. Someday, I wanna live on the top floor of somewhere though. Or have a better view." That Kakashi noticed that he was studying the other made Obito blush, but he didn't stop. He didn't even notice when Kakashi tensed in his arms, just kept moving.

Reaching his door, and unlocking it, he laughed. "I just smell like me," Obito said. Still, he felt his face get very warm as he opened the door, and stepped in with Kakashi. "Mm, this is my place. Home sweet home. Misa's probably sleeping in the big chair over there, or the couch." Shutting the door and taking off his shoes, he stepped up into the apartment and dropped his keys on the table and went to find his cat. "Misa-cha-an, where are you?"

"Not that I would mind what you decide to do with other people. It's your life... Just know I won't change my ways of what I like to do." The man purred out slowly, his eyes hazed to mere slits. He licked his lips once to wetten them, and grasped his hand into Obito's shirt as they walked through the apartment door. "You smell like Obito, yes." Kakashi replied slowly, and chuckled in amusement.

Shifting his shoes off immediately, Kakashi peered around the apartment cautiously, and then smiled warmly. It smelt... really good here... Comforting. Not even a stale cat smell either, like most homes had. He took a long moment to look around the apartment, figuring out where everything was, but stumbled into the corner of the counter, keeping himself standing, looking blearily around.

Obito smiled. "I wouldn't expect you to change for me," Obito said. "That'd be silly." For whatever reason, with Kakashi's hand on his shirt like that, he sucked in a breath through his teeth. Kakashi's words tickled his neck, and he felt his skin prickle a little. "Is smelling like me so wierd?" he asked quietly. "I am me, after all." Glancing at Kakashi, he felt his face redden again, as thier faces were so close, just for a moment.

Obito's apartment was large but moest, the living room set up with a couch and an oversized chair, tv and coffee table. There was a hallway that lead offin obe direction where the bathroom and bedroom and office were, and just to the side of the living room, there was a kitchen. The apartment was warmly decorated, pictures of family on the wall, and a picture of Kakashi, Rin and himself there too.

Calling for his cat, he quickly scooped her up into his arms, petting her and nuzzling. He walked over to Kakashi, presenting a fat, sleepy kitty. "This is Misa-chan," Obito said, smiling, waving a paw at Kakashi. Obito snuggled his cat, and grinned. "She's been with me for the past twelve years. She's my best friend, and is a good judge of people. Listen to her pur. She likes you, I think."

The smile on Obito's face warmed Kakashi entirely, like a raw flame igniting all over again in his stomach. His chest felt fuzzy and warm, like being snuggled in with all of his pack. It felt good to be this close to someone... Though Obito was not just -anyone-. The breath went unnoticed in Kakashi's hazy state of mind, and he simply gazed back into the others dark eyes when their faces met again. A small swallow, and he waited for Obito to fetch his cat.

The cat looked... really sweet, in Kakashi's opinion. Usually he didn't get on very well with cats. He often saw Uchiha's as being very feline like, how they behaved and how snobby they could sometimes be. Obito was like a cat and a dog in his eyes. Craving attention, and generally being warm and cosy. A hesitant hand reached out, stroking down Misa's spine, and he lightly scritched behind her ear, smiling warmly. "Hello there, Misa-chan~" he purred back in response. "I understand what you mean... My pack can usually tell if a person is bad natured or not. Thankfully I haven't had that many people in my apartment, and those who I have had over have been wonderful with my dogs." Namely Gai. In fact, he highly doubted, besides Sasuke, if anyone else had stepped foot inside.

Misa purred as Kakashi skritched her, low and pleasent, and rubbed against his hand. "Ahh, she seems to really like you," Obito said, happily. "I'm glad. I would have had to kick you out if she didn't, you know." Obito grinned at Kakashi, a bit mischeviously. "As this is her domain, that she so graciously shares with me. Isn't that right, Misa-chan?" The cat, no longer amused by Obito or his guest, yawned and jumped gracefully out of his hands, and padded off down the hall. Obito laughed. "Mm, you want some water, Kakashi?" he asked. "'m sleepy but I wanted water. . ." He headed towards the kitchen.

Looking over his shoulder at Kakashi, Obito smiled and grabbed two glasses without waiting for Kakashi's answer, wondering where Kakashi was going to sleep. The couch was an option, but he was unsure about it, thought it had certainly served Obito well many times. And he did have a futon. . .

"I understand how possessive cats get of their owners AND their homes, so I am happy she likes me!" Kakashi's voice chirped up, despite his fogged mind. He motioned his thumb against Misa's ear, and then over her head again, making cooing noises at her, despite how old the feline was by that point. When he gazed back at Obito, he caught that grin, and suddenly wanted to kiss him again... But he held it back this time. That had been a one off. It wouldn't happen again. Right? ......Right....?

Right.

When Obito had got the water, Kakashi blinked at it slowly, and then shook his head. "I feel nice and cosy right now without the water. I'll sleep off the hangover I'm sure." He said with a little laugh, and stretched slowly, peering down at his clothes. They weren't really sleeping material, but he didn't mind wearing his boxers for two days in a row... "Ahhh I don't mind sleeping on the floor." A little thumbs up, and he began to unbutton his shirt.

Obito was happy that Misa and Kakashi got along, and smiled. "Yeah, she's not liked a few girls I've brought home, so they got kicked out right away. Misa's never steered me wrong." He caught that look in Kakashi's eye, and wondered what it was. He shook it off though.

"Are you sure?" Onito asked, holding out the water. "Alcohol dehydrates, so it's not really a matter of sleepi--hey!" Obito sat the water down and grabbed Kakashi's hand. "You. . .don't need to sleep on the floor, you know. I have a futon, or my bed is pretty big, or the couch. You really shouldn't sleep on the floor, you could catch a cold."

Kakashi tended to get on well with most animals. They seemed to be attracted to him, because he was able to communicate with them, considering how similar he was to a dog or wolf himself. He smiled at Obito as he undressed, shaking his head a little. "I don't want---woah." And stumbled with his hand half through his shirt in the middle of getting it off, most of it completely shred from his body. "...Um... I have slept on the floor before." he murmured out contently. "...If needbe, I will just sleep here." and his eyes curved, despite Obito being able to see the smile on his face.

Obito stared at Kakashi for a moment, then shook his head. Licking his lips, and feeling rather dry mouthed, he let go of Kakashi and grabbed his water, drinking it down. "Um, maybe you have but ahh. . . see, you shouldn't. And I'm not about to let my best friend sleep on the floor," Obito said, looking at him. "You've got to sleep somewhere more comfortable. You're my guest." Obito looking him in the eye. "I insst that you do not sleep on the floor," he said, his eyes wandering a little before looking into Kakashi's again.

Briefly catching the wandering eye, Kakashi just grinned stupidly, before dropping his shirt down and scratched his chest. He was sporting a lot of scars... a lot of them that hadn't been seen by anyone else but Gai, and the doctors and nurses that had healed him and nursed him back to health. He breathed out through his nose, leaning back and sighed. "Alright... I will sleep right here." he said with a smile, and flicked the button of his pants. "I won't bother you too much... and I know you're tired, so... you can go to bed." the silver murmured, smiling.

Obito stared openly at the scars, brow furrowed. "Kakashi. . . why. . ?" he touchd one, hand lightly tracing it, before looking at Kakashi. "No, I won't let you just sleep where you like. As much as you want to be, you are not actually a canine, you know. People sleep on beds. You should sleep on a bed." He grabbed Kakashi's wrist, and brought him to his bedroom, and waved his hand. "You should at least be comfortable. I'll pull out the futon and sleep." Opening up his closet, Obito rummaged around and pulled out a futon and blankets, and tossed them on the floor. "Just. . . Kakashi, please don't sleep on the floor, okay?" he said, looking at his friend. "I. . . it would make me upset."

The touch of his scar made Kakashi flinch, and he recoiled very slightly, beginning to sober up a little bit. His silver brows furrowed very slightly, and he watched Obito, wondering why he sounded like that. "Because it's rude of me to crash here in the first place. It doesn't bother me, because this couch is comfy..." And then he felt the Uchiha pull him up, which made him frown even more. "H-Hey... Obito, what are you doing?" He took a step back, "I told you, I can sleep on the couch. I won't sleep on the floor." And sleeping in the same bedroom...? Seemed... ... Kakashi wasn't sure. The last person he had done that with had been Gai, so this... was a big step. The whole time with Obito had been a huge step today, not to mention everything that had happened.

Obito looked confused for a moment, brows furrowed. "Ohh, you mean. . . I. . . sorry," Obito said, laughing. "I thought that you still meant to sleep on the floor. . . ahahaha, sorry." He looked at Kakashi embarrassedly, flustered and excitedly confused. Shrugging off his suit jaket, he tossed it on top on the futon. "Ahh, well. . . if you really want to sleep on the couch. . . I can give you a blanket. I. . .ohh, I feel dumb. I mustn't be thinking right. . . ahh, well. . . sleep where you want, as long as that's not the floor. . . okay?"

Deciding that Obito had taken up so much of his time already, and was already putting up with him, Kakashi breathed out a slow sigh after a moment and closed his eyes. "No... no... I apologize." he shook his head lightly. "I will sleep on the futon, if you are so keen for me to." He returned briefly to the living area to grasp up the sheets and blankets that had been carelessly left there, and draped them over the futon, lightly resting Obito's clothing on the chair by his desk. He zipped down his own pants, removing them with ease, following his socks, and remained clad in his underwear. A hint of a cheeky grin followed that, the beginnings of his happy trail being seen on the lower part of his stomach, trailing down his pants. "I ... ah... well I guess we should... get some rest, ne?"

Obito was very confused, and just watched Kakashi for a bit, wandering in and out of his room. "You. . . aren't a bother, being here," Obito said suddenly. "I. . .I like the company." He knew it sounded ierd and out of place, but Kakashi seemed out of sorts. Obito nodded at him though. "Yeah, we should. I. . . " Obito looked at Kakashi again, and shook his head. He turned around and undressed to his undershirt and boxers. Looking over his shoulder at Kakashi, his brow furrowed again. "Are you sure you don't want the bed?" he asked.

Kakashi had represented a chicken, the way he was frantically moving about, getting the sheets over the futon so he would be warm enough during the night. When he had finally calmed down, he managed to catch a glimpse of Obito's body for the first time; he was toned, but yes, he had that slight pudge that Kakashi immediately wanted to snuggle his face against. He looked warm, and comfortable... not muscly and bulky. That wasn't really Kakashi's cup of tea. Stepping over towards his friend, the younger man wrapped his arms around the raven and grinned a little at him, lazily. "...You know, for a straight guy, you seem awfully keen for me to get into bed with you." Kakashi had intended that for Obito to take it however he wanted. He was only teasing, after all.

Obito paled at the comment, staring at Kakashi with his mouth agape, speechless. His mouth moved several times before he was able to or a response. "I. . . you. . . I am!" Obito said. "I was just saying that if you wanted to sleep in the bed, you could!" The look on his face was horrified, although he personally could not tell if it was because he was intruiged by the idea of Kakashi in bed with him; or the comment that sounded like Kakashi wanted him to want him in bed or something. . . Obito lost himself. "I just. . .I mean. . . I just meant, if you wanted to sleep in the bed, I'd sleep on the futon. Really." He knew his face was red at this point, but he found that he really wasn't uncomfortable with Kakashi so close.

"..........................................." Kakashi just spluttered out into laughter. His eyes curved happily as his sides soon began to hurt, Obito's expression far too priceless... wordless. He couldn't believe how oddly cute the raven was behaving. It was very, very sweet. "Do you want me to sleep with you, Obito? It seems awfully lonely. It's a rather large bed, even you said that yourself... But..." A little grin, and he pulled himself back. "I know its kept for the rather more attractive and large chested females you so desire." He pointed to the bed, and then moved to sit down on the futon. "I don't care, really... I just want to sleep in all honesty. But the look on your face has made this evening complete." A slight tilt of his head, "Not that I would mind sharing, or sleeping alone." And crawled up the futon.

Obito's face turned red as Kakashi laughed at him, but he smiled. "Ahh, Kakashi, you're just mean," he said. "I just want you. . . to be comfortable." When Kakashi moved away, he frowned. He didn't want him moving away, he was arm and Obito. .. liked that. "It is empty but. . . no lovely ladies have shared my bed in longer then I'd like to think. And big breasts are nice but not really a requirment." Sitting on his bed, it seemed strange to him that Kakashi was on the ground. It was a futon, and Obito knew it was comfortable, having used it himself until he'd gotten the bed, but it didn't feel very right. As a host, he should be the one on the floor, right. . . ?

"You sure you don't want to sleep up here?" Obito asked, patting the bed, a smirk on his face and glint in his eyes. "Or should I sleep down there, with you?"

"I'm not mean~" Kakashi teased back in response. "I will be comfortable. In fact, I can't really feel that much at the moment anyway, so wherever I sleep will make me feel better in the morning." He stretched for a small moment, and curled up on the futon, snuggling up under his sheets and peered over at Obito. "In my store, we sell fake breasts to lay your head on. You should buy some. I think they would suit you. Unless you prefer thighs, because we have those as well."

The glint didn't go unnoticed, but Kakashi didn't dwell on it. His eye curved as he pulled the sheets up to his face, hiding it. "I'm fine here." he said slowly, and snuggled into the covers.

Obito snorted. "I'd rather have a real person to be with, Kakashi. Things like that aren't the same, you know, they don't feel right," he said. Looking down at Kakashi, he sighed. "Much as I say I love boobs, that's really not what attracted me to someone, you know?" Poking Kakashi with his foot, he smiled. "I'm glad we went out tonight. It was. . . really fun."

A touch of a frown glinted on Kakashi's face, and he breathed in. "I was only teasing you, Obito. I know you aren't shallow." he murmured out, and ran a hand through his hair lightly, watching his friend with lazy eyes, before curling up again and shutting them, the scar visible over his eye. He smiled in return. "I am happy you enjoyed it. It was nice to get out... I hope my dogs are alright though." A yawn stiffled him.

"Mmm, they're your dogs, yeah? They'll be fine," he said. He slid off his bed a moment, and skritched Kakashi's head. "I'm gonna. . .curl up then." Crawling into the bed, and under the covers, Obito grinned. "I ahh. . . hope that next time, I'll get to see your dogs." Lying in his bed, he looked over Kakashi, and grinned, yawning.

"Of course." Kakashi said with his own tired grin, and nuzzled the cushions. His body tensed with feeling Obito's fingers scritch into his hair, and he leaned into it, murring softly, before lazily sinking into the futon. "You can come over next time. Though there isn't really much room to sleep..." Speaking of, sleep was beginning to dawn over the tired pup-man.

"S'okay," Obito said, sleepily. Snuggling into his pillow happily, he felt warm and sleepy. "I'll just curl up with you and the dogs and sleep, right? Sounds good." Closing his eyes he sighed. "G'night, Kakashi."

"Mmmhmm..." Kakashi murmured out sleepily, and breathed in the scent of Obito all around him, filling his senses. It would make sense in the morning, and would panic him... but right now, it was good.

-----

As if Kakashi had enough time to revel in that feeling, though. Hours passed into the early hours of the morning, and the silver jolted awake with noticing he was in a different home. His initial thought was to panic, and he swallowed thickly, wondering where his dogs were. The events of the previous evening dropped down harder than a tonne of bricks, however, and Kakashi sat up immediately on the futon, staring wide eyed at Obito... who was still asleep. His heart was pounding in his chest. They had dinner, they drank... a hell of a lot (which explained his headache).... they.... KISSED?!

A cold sweat came over Kakashi, definately sober by that point as he stumbled half naked out of the futon and hurriedly tried to find his clothes to dress immediately. He stumbled out to sit on the couch, taking a long moment to breath and THINK. What the hell is wrong with you, Hatake!

"I don't know..." Whispered to himself... aloud...

It hadn't taken very long for Obito to fall asleep, he'd been mostly asleep when he'd curled into the bed. It'd been smiling and happily that he'd fallen asleep., nott a care in the world. Things were good, his best friend was there, and they had celebrated. And been sad. There had been good and bad.

He thought he heard something and stirred in his sleep, a dull pain in his head. He moaned as he moved, still very tired and asleep, unwilling yet to wake.

Obito's awakening didn't seem to bother Kakashi, as he slowly had gotten his head around the night before. He would hurry and make breakfast, and then leave because he knew everything would be really awkward... For him, anyway. He wasn't sure how friendly Obito was usually with his friends, but that kiss... had seemed strange.

He got sausages and eggs on the fry, toast in the toaster, and tea being made, while he was half-assedly dressed, not at all expecting Obito any time soon.

Usually, in the state that Obito was in, wakefullness did not occur until hours past noon. Today, however, the smell of something cooking in his kitchen woke him up, and he stretched out in his bed. "Mmmrghppp," he moaned as he flailed for his glasses, and managed to get them on without poking his eye out. He thought that was an act of pure luck. Blinking, the world was still very blurry and painful as his stumbled out of bed and to the bathroom.

After washing his hands, he managed to get to the kitchen, still smelling food cooking, and wondering if Misa had at last turned into the catgirl maid of his dreams. Impossible, but he hadn't seen or heard her yet this morning, and usually she greeting him, yowling for food.

Things clicked into place when he saw Kakashi cooking at his stove.

". . . Oh. You're not Misa," he said, blinking. "Ah. Morning, Kakashi."

Having found food for Misa to make sure she had something to eat, and not wake up Obito, Kakashi had been careful about how much noise he was making, practically being silent besides the slight clatter of plates and cuttlery. But his ears picked up on the Uchiha moving from his bed, his feet placing down on the boards of the floor below. His head perked up harshly, and he stood very stood when Obito stepped inside the kitchen. He felt those blurry eyes on him, and swallowed thick.

Hesitant to turn around, the silver was clad in the clothes he wore the day before, fabric draped around his mouth. He swallowed, and then slowly fake-smiled with his eye. "I have to head out. They need help at the store with unpacking a new batch of orders." he murmured, part lie. "I wanted to make breakfast... I didn't mean to wake you."

"Mmm? How could I sleep with the smell of food in the air?" he said, grinning sleepily. "I would have been sad if you left without saying goodbye. . ." He adjusted the orange frames on his face, the world not getting much clearer, and sighed. "I feel like I was hit by a train, or something. How are you feeling?" Slipping past Kakashi to get to his refrigerator, he took a sharp breath. The scent of Kakashi's skin made blurry memories a little clearer, and he moved past, fingers touching his own lips.

He remembered that kiss.

He didn't look at Kakashi when he opened the refriferator, and pulled out his bottle of tea, draining it. His face felt hot, and embarrassed. He'd kissed Kakashi--well, he could argue that Kakashi kissed him, but Obito remembered kissing back, and how hard it had been to pull back. He swallowed dryly, and gave Kakashi a smile.

"Anyway, thank you for making breakfast," Obito said grinning. "I would have been to lazt to make anything for hours, if you hadn't."

A sheepish look appeared on Kakashi's face as he scratched his nose idly, wrinkling it a little. "I suppose that's understandable." he murmured out, avering his attention from Obito entirely. He concentrated on shovling out the food onto Obito's plate; he could always catch breakfast elsewhere... like in his home... curling up in his bed. At least it was a saturday. To hear that Obito was most likely hungover, Kakashi breathed out a slow sigh, before turning his eyes towards the Uchiha when he brushed past him. His body tensed up and he swallowed thickly. "Ah, I feel alright." he lied. His head was pounding hard, and he did not feel that great, but he would cope, and leave as soon as he could.

The kiss of course had been on Kakashi's mind entirely, but he didn't wish to bring something like that up. In fact, he wanted to forget about it, because it wasn't something he would have done if he had been sober. He curled in on himself a little and stepped out of the kitchen, moving to get his shoes on. "Maa, it's the least I could do." he said, faking a smile. "Just ah... I have to get going. So enjoy it."

Obito noticed the avoided looks, and frowned. He was a little confused at the way Kakashi was acting; they'd been close last night (intimate moments aside), and now it seemed. . . oddly strained. He threw the empty tea bottle in the plastics bin, and scratched his head. "Ahh, well. . . are you sure you're feeling all right? You must be really strong with alcohol then. . . we drank a lot." He laughed a little, then moaned. It hurt to laugh like that.

"H-hey, aren't you at least going to eat something?" Obito asked. "I. . . you went through the trouble of cooking, I don't want you to not eat. You're already thin enough as it is." Obito gave Kakashi a grin. "Stay, eat something. I. . . well, if you can relax at all, before you go, that would be good, you know? I don't want you to go to work on an empty stomach." Obito wanted to talk to Kakashi about the night before, but he was hesitant. It had been. . . . he'd never kissed another man before, and it bothered him that it was all he could think about.

It was that internal instinct to push anyone who got too close away. It was only over years and years of practise and trust that Kakashi was closer to Gai. To suddenly be this close with Obito was... beyond his comprehension. He swallowed when Obito asked him again, and turned his head a little to gaze at the Uchiha, breathing in slowly. "Yeah... I'm sorry, I'm not used to drinking this much." He said with an embarassed look on his face.

"I will make myself something to eat when I get home, or I'll grab something before work." Kakashi murmured out, and ran his hand slowly through his hair, feeling the strands slick through his fingers. "I'll be alright, so don't worry about me." Adjusting his jacket, Kakashi stared over at Obito for a long moment, wondering if he had remembered the events of the previous night. "I'll talk to you later." he murmured, and smiled, resting his hand on the door handle. The lingering words of wanting to talk was left unsaid.

Obito was not used to people so shut off to others, as Kakashi was. Maybe, if the years between them weren't so vast, he and Kakashi wouldn't have this problem, but the years were, and there was no going back; only going forward. "Yeah, I'm . . . . not used to that much myself, either. Beer, yeah, but not the rest of it."

Grabbing the sleeve of Kakashi's jacket, Obito swallowed heavily. "Don't. . . go, just yet," he said, cringing. "Kakashi, I. . . we. . . Can't we talk, just a little, now?" he asked. Taking a deep breath, he tried to sooth his nerves. If he was honest with himself, he knew that his reasons for wanting Kakashi around were entirely selfish, but it didn't stop him from wanting him nearby. Kakashi was the one who told him about his family, and once left alone. . . Obito didn't want to think about it. "I. . . I want to talk to you. And I'm allowed to worry about you, you're my friend. I. . .will worry about you, reguardless of what you tell me. I'm sorry."

Situations had occured and happened, and there was unfortunately no way that anything else could change by that time. Things had happened, and this was how it was meant to be. Kakashi had to learn to deal with loss, despite having Obito back in his life. But with time and patience, the two of them could break that barrier together.

To feel his body being pulld back, Kakashi tensed up again, hanging his head a little. His sleeve was adjusted with Obito's grasp, and he couldn't bring himself to look at his friend. His shoulders hunched a little as he breathed in slowly, and closed his eyes. "Obito, I can't." he whispered out painfully, aching in his chest something that he wasn't sure how to cope with. "I have to go."

There was a moment where Obito hesitated, his hand staying where it was, not quite ready to let go of Kakashi's arm. His hand slowly slid off Kakashi's jacket, and he stood there, quietly, fighting not to grab Kakashi. His words had hit Obito like a brick, and he wasn't sure how he wanted to react.

"Kakashi," he said softly. "I just. . . . I'm sorry. I had a good night. If you. . . I will talk to you later." He gathered his will, taking a deep breath and exhaling. He stood tall, resisting the urge to embrace his friend, not wanting to upset Kakashi further. It was hard, and against the way Obito usually dealt with things, but Kakashi's feelings came first.

When Kakashi felt the others hand move from his body, his eyes were shut and he trembled unknowingly. It was hard for him to move away, because he wanted to stay... part of him did... but that other half, the scared half, didn't want to admit that he had enjoyed the previous night, he had enjoyed the kiss, no matter how hazy it had seemed. He stood still for a long moment, his head bowed. "What exactly... did you want to talk about?" he asked quietly, his voice softened, finally plucking up the courage to turn his head to stare at his friend. Damn him for still being clad in only underwear.

Swallowing again, and licking his lips, Obito flushed a little, somewhat embarrassed. "It's. . .ahh, how to put this into words," he said. "Last night. I wanted to. . . I'm not sure. I guess I. . . I mean, I don't know what you think of what hapened. Or if you remember, but I, ahh," Obito stammered. He took a breath, and stared into Kakashi's eyes. "I don't regret it. Any of it." He hoped that Kakashi would understand what he meant, without having to say it. He didn't want to think about what it meant, but. . .Kakashi needed to know.

Eyes immediately averted when Obito spoke up again. Kakashi swallowed thickly, allowing the words to filter through his mind. He could see the flush on Obito's face, and he knew instantly that the other had remembered what had happened. "I'm sorry." he murmured out quietly. "It wouldn't have happened..." If he had control of the situation. But his eyes went wide, heart stopping when Obito had said that; he didn't regret it. But... why not? It shouldn't have happened... should it...? It was obvious that Kakashi was torn with what to think, or what to believe.

"Don't be sorry, Kakashi," he said softly, taking a single step closer towards him. "I. . . I'm not. . .I don't really remember it well, but I remember really. . enjoying it." Obito stratched his nose, and ran his hand through his hair. He gave Kakashia small smile. "At the very least, I wanted you to know that. I, ahh, well, I'm not sure, I mean, maybe it wouldn't have happened, if we had been sober, but. . . I really don't regret it." He looked at Kakashi with a quick smile and a short laugh. "I'm not sure what to make of it, yet, but. . . I will. I'm sorry. I'm probably not helping. At all."

"It wouldn't have happened." Kakashi spoke immediately, a defiant look in his eyes, but a touch of frantic motion, because he felt like he had done something terrible. He had crossed the boundaries of friendship. His hands clenched a little as he looked away in a bashful glance, tensing up harder. Why... was Obito saying these things? He enjoyed it? He didn't regret it? Obito liked women, liked being with women, dated women. For Obito to kiss him, it didn't seem logical, unless he looked that much like a girl. And then he found himself unable to say anything else. He himself was as confused as anything right now.

"Ahh, yeah," Obito said, softly. "I. . . . guess not. I just. . . guess I'm a little confused." His smile didn't quite reach his eyes this time, and he looked away. He was confused, he like women. Liked them a lot, and yet. . . Kakashi was anything but feminine, not event the slightest bit. And he'd liked kissing Kakashi. It was odd, and is was confusing in hi head at the moment. The headache didn't help much, either. "Sorry," he said. "I didn't mean to confuse you more."

"......" The words continued to confuse Kakashi, even up until that point. He felt oddly alone in his confusion, like he didn't know what to make of it all. His heart was thumping heavily in his heart, painfully in his chest. Kakashi had... liked the kiss. But he couldn't imagine himself doing that if he hadn't of been drinking. If he had known it would lead to that...

A panic began to arise in Kakashi. He thought all of this was going to ruin their friendship. "Can we talk about this later?" he asked desperately, needing some time alone to think.

Nodding, Obito crossed his arms over his chest and scratched his head. His head was pounding loudly, and did not help him think. Part of him thought that he should have kept quiet about his feelings, and maybe he would have, had he not been hungover. But another part of him didn't like the idea of keeping this to himself. It hadn't seemed right.

"We. .. yeah. We can talk later," Obito said. "I didn't mean to. . . that is. . . Ahh, I'll just. . . we'll talk later." He grinned, ignoring his stumbling over worrds. "I'm sorry. You should get home and rest a little more before you go to work."

"I... plan to." Kakashi said a little hesitantly, not looking at Obito anymore. He swallowed thickly, so loud that he swore Obito would hear him, and them fumbled his way to opening the door, breathing in a sharp breath. "I'll talk to you later." he murmured out quietly, and then flashed a small smile to hide his true feelings, before heading out of the apartment.

There, he stood still and just took a moment to breath. What had come over him last night?!

Obito stood there, staring at his closed door for a moment, trying to figure out what the hell it was that he was doing. What had he been thinking? Shaking his head, he felt Misa wind around his feet, and he bent down to pick her up, cuddling the cat in his arms. "Mmm, Misa-chan. . . what was I thinking, saying that?" he asked her, nuzzling her with his face. The cat just looked at him, and meowed. Sighing. Obito grabbed the plate of food Kakashi had made, and sat on his couch, letting Misa go so he could pick at the food. He didn't feel hungry, but he knew he'd feel better later for having ate.

Still. . . what had just happened? What had he just admitted to?
