I am another owner of a little green Kawasaki
I test drove the thing twice, everything ran fine.
I sign and buy everything and come back the next day after I register it and the battery doesnt work... Ok... she thinks the lights may have been left on by accident... so the battery gets jumped. I drive off... stop for lunch with the friend who dropped me off at the bike... Ok... the bike won;t start up... must have needed a longer amount of time for the battery... I'm driving it, and it's doing well, I get on the highway for a few miles and the bike starts lurching- and the tachometer starts freaking out, as the engine starts over revving... I pulled over and the bike get's loaded into my buddy's hatchback.
Turns out that the battery is dead dead and that caused the issues with the bike...because she didn;t hook the battery to a trcikle cell charger over winter, the cell died and the battery won't hold a charge. I had to buy a new battery.
There are also a few minorish repairs I need to do... she's had some issues, but overall, she's a good bike
with a strong engine.
I need a good name for her, because just like a typical woman in my life: she has already contributed to the shortening of my life span and overall health. Also, causing me happiness and stress.
