Does anyone else sometimes wish that 7v could be like a Chose-your-own-adventure book?

Just so we can explore all the bad options just for the sake of doing it?

I mean just saying... not that I'd ever mess with plot and say that Julian stopped caring about her family and ran off to join 7P... She doesn't care for the ancestors anymore, and figures that her mother can fend for herself...
