Aunty Tucker needs help

Tuhan: hey
Tucker:Hey, what's up?
Tuhan: not much. my friend elena wants to know how 2 kill a stupid fat boy
Tucker: Well she'll go to prison if she does. It's awkward. What is he doing?
Tuhan: look, it wasn't my idea, he just annoys her so much, so she asked me for a sharp object, i said i didn't have one, but my aunt does ,so she asked me to ask you how to kill him
Tucker: Yeh no. I'm not going to prison for giving a 12 year old a murder weapon. Thanks for considering me though, Monkey :p Has she tried pretending she can't hear him?
Tuhan: Hamster. if she pretends not to hear him, he says she's stupid
Tucker: What does he say to her anyways?
Tuhan : do you want a stickerfor that, your so stupid, gee, no shit, and a lot of other put downs
Tucker: She could either freak him out and start acting sweet as pie when he says those dumb things to her
"aww, I could use a sticker, thank you."
"thank you for noticing, you're so sweet"
or- keep ingnoring him, even when he calls her stupid for ignoring him
Tucker: eventually he's going to look stupid talking to someone who's not listening- especially if she's doing something like reading a book.
Tucker: I don't suppose talking to a teacher helps?
Tuhan: oh please, then it would look like she has a crush on him, and trust me, and no one would have a crush on that lump.plus, mr. d, our science teacher is cool, and all, but he doesn't get involved
Tucker: Does he hear him call her stupid or swear at her? Because it's unacceptable for a teacher to hear this and not do anything.
Tuhan: no, because my class is the loudest class on the team
Tucker: "Mr. D. This guy is swearing at me and calling me stupid- and he won;t leave me alone- I need help." no?
Tuhan: then brian will say she's a liar and mr.d will ignore them
Tucker: You're around- you could act as a witness. And if Mr. D. is not willing to help- there's got to be a teacher or a guidance counselor who is?
Tuhan: they don't really talk about it
Tucker: Talk about what?
Tuhan: the fighting
Tucker: They as in the teachers? With all the anti bullying sentiment going around recently- they would or should be more sensitive to quashing nonsense
Tuhan: elena and brian don't tell teachers in my school, people don't really tell teachers, they just use action. plus,. the anti bulling isn't going so well in my school. amir threw ashly and matile into lockers
Tucker: ...what do you mean anti bullying isn't working in your schools?
Tuhan: no one listens to it
Tucker: Teacher don't punish students when they catch them? Parents don't complain?
Tuhan: kids don't tell parents, kids are sly and teachers don't catch them. too embaresed, when their parents have to save them

This is the conversation I just had with my niece who lives in Farmington- an upper middle class town with a reasonable amount of kids in their school system. I have no idea if my niece is giving me the perspective of an adolescent who thinks adults really can;t help... or have I forgotten to much about what it was like when I was 12. I don't really know what to do or what to say as I am pretty removed over here as helpless aunt. *sigh* I'm out of ideas. I told her to call me if she needed anything.

I know Tuhan ended up clubbing some boy on the bus a few weeks ago because he told her that she wanted to touch his balls.

untaggable, munchkins
