So I've decided to stop procrastinating and start using the new gym in my apartment building... I may never get back to the state I was when I was training to become a career firefighter...but I do want to keep in shape (I'VE GONE TO SEED!!!).
Even though I worked 12 hours today + (and got the truck stuck in mud *sigh*) I was determined to check the damn thing out and get a couple of reps done... and what do I find? the gym is just a lame generic total gym, and 4 aerobic machines, and some very light loose weights...
Mind you, I'm not hard to please, but the one thing I really wanted?
A bench press
there wasn't even a machine version of a bench press...
It's the signature weight lifting machine, and the one that I love doing... *sigh* bicep curls and running* will have to do I guess...
*I hate running with a passion, but cardio is a good thing in the long run**...
** Especially since I seem to have a habit of chasing after baddies*** in LARPS
***Why the hell do they always have to have longer legs than me?
