I went to see Mamma Mia! the movie with Mike tonight. I may or may not have talked him into seeing the sing a long version... it didn't matter since we went to see the last showing and there was nobody else there so we would have belted out notes anyways (just louder now). It was fantastic- although I'm not sure how big of a geek I am for knowing exactly where and how they changed the line up of the songs, and the songs they left out from seeing the show four/five years ago on Broadway.

I don't for the life of me know why Pierce Brosnan didn't have a voice over- the man cannot sing, and I'm glad we were able to sing over him... such a weak undertoned voice... I know he was trying to imitate the Musical Soundtrack (which I own) of the character he's portraying but... I think he does better in Bond films... good thing he only had a few singing parts. Meryl Strep, however, has a fantastic voice. Fantastic.

And seeing Mrs. Weasley singing and dancing disco was also something.
