Nate Reviews Age of Conan.
Well I'm not sure if I got some bad disks from the local Wal-mart of if something went horribly wrong durring my install but I got error messages like mad for the .bik movie files saying that they couldn't pass error check tests, so I had to skip them. That alone could make me grab a 2 handed sword, join a horde, and raid the stronghold of Funcom/Eidos. But by Mitra that wasn't the end of it. If only I had been that lucky. The install took just over 2 hours on my new computer (a rather nice set up from Dell that has a dual core AMD chip...), and then I now face another estimated 11 hours of UPDATE?
What in Set's scales is wrong here?!? This game hasn't been out long enough to need an 11 hour update from box to PC! Though I have been told that the game is very imerisve, and addictive, and very well done, but I will have to see. I would seek revenge on who ever did this, and oh the revenge I would take, if only, I wouldn't be starting off as a little newbie, and the makers of this game (if history has show anything it is when you work for a game company you eventual end up playing the games you make) are by now much high level than me. Maybe I'll raise their grannies as minions and then have my undead army of grannies check pinch them into submission...because that's about all I can evil I think I could get away with.
