2 weaks in a row (St. Patties@the library)
Okay so it could have been worse. I had great time, would have been better with functional mixer. Yes the mixer did work, just not well or properly. Ultimately with live performance I'm going to run into shit like that more often. It really threw me off initially then I was just like fuck whatever * chugs own beer* followed up with *chugs a nice portion of Jarrets* ( mmm Stella Artois good beer) followed up by * yells at Jarret to go get beer for the dj* ( oddly enough this caused the crowd to cheer- something to do with Irish Christmas maybe) ( God Bless the Irish) *chugs good portion of beer*. Ready to fuk this up again. I actually kept it together relativly well considering I played for just shy of 2 hours and was expecting to play for a hour tops. After 45 minutes I just started winging things thats when I sound the best surprisingly. Eh. Again a learning experience.
I can't wait to get into that basement. Everyone keeps on talking about how its so fun to play in there. Oh well, I'm going to do my best not to play next weekend. No guarentees though. Then on the 31st I'm playing at a private function.
P.S. D.j groupies (not to be confused with genuine fans of a dj or the music they play) should hung on sight. There body should then be cut up. A limb placed hanging from each corner of the room, the torso placed at the front entrance, the head mounted on a poll above the turntables stairing down, a warning to all whom have considered group-e-dumb.
