HELL

If my subject caught your attention, I will explain why it is so. For starters last night SUCKED!!! The player tracking system (that is what gives points to players and issues ticket for all of you none casino people out there.) went down around 02:30ish and came back on-line around 06:00. The weird part about the whole thing is only parts of the floor where affected. A few machines on this bank, a few here, a few there. In the end it turns out that it was a "database error on the front user's software." Which is a fancy way of saying Konami *&#%ed-up. There was absolutely nothing we could do to fix it or prevent it. After we explained to most everyone in the casino (guest and employee) things started to calm down... mind you too that was around the time the system started to right itself. Plus I talked to Catfish Bend a few days ago they slid for home plate stopped short about five inches and got tagged out. The best they could give me was $9.23 an hour. They are doing this thing where they take you experience and that determines how much you get paid on a sliding scale. The lowest I said I would go for is $9.50, no if, ands or buts. They said if the new casino is successful and they need more techs I'm on the top of the list and I always have a home at Catfish Bend if need be but for now since I'm making $8.25 a hour base pay and on average $5.00 a hour in tips, I think I will suffer the dive and conditions a little longer. After last night I need a good rub down and a soak in the Hot Tub. Since I have no-one to give me a rub I guess I will have to use my back massager on my neck and back (get your minds out of the gutter, all though I could go for some of that too) and soak in the hot tub by my lonesome. I guess I'm starting to get use to it by now. Whoa is the man who is scorn by love. Well I've got to get going. See you all later.
