I don't know, what could you have done? I know what I would have done in your position, but you have the benefit of being a few millenia of technological advances ahead of me. I'll presume that you weren't working alone, from your earlier comment, which means you could have utilized the skills of almost anyone on board. Psychics, time travelers, even people like Rex, who could have forced me to tell you everything and then erased all memory of it.

There is a lot you could have done.
