It seems as if we should all be homesick. Constantly. Writhing with agony over the fact that we are here instead of with our friends. Our...family. And yet, we accept this place so easily in our minds and we continue to endure this punishment time and time again.

What does that say about the places we come from?

Actually this is slower than home for me. But you're right. Most of the time I'd rather be there.

Yeah, it is. [Even if I want to kick my deal in the ass sometimes.] It about has to be to keep us here. Even those that don't have anywhere to go home to can probably find loopholes.

Maybe not. [Which is part of why he's staying.] I guess poetically, you could say there are things worth crossing universes for. Less appealing is the description of putting up with embarrassment on a semi-regular basis.
