They didn't make it.

By the time I got there, there wasn't anything that I could do for them- or rather, there was only one thing that I could do for them.

A confirmed kill of a Space Pirate frigate is worth more than enough to cover my bills, which is something, I guess.

Excuse me. Maintenance needs to see my ship again, and I need to see the bar again.

I'm sorry.

When you're back from the bar... you said we should talk?

It happens. You don't start up your distress beacon unless you need to get lucky, and they got unlucky. But... nevermind that.

... I don't know. You fell apart for a little while there, and I didn't like seeing that. It's good that things are better with you two (three?), and I don't know Jordan that well, but in my experience, sometimes omnipotence makes people do things that seem hurtful and stupid. You need to be strong enough to deal with that- you *are* strong enough, but... it just seemed to me like you needed to talk about that some more.

Also, you're being hunted by an alien god and you still haven't made a plan, and it seems to me like you need to think about that some more.

...
Do you bury people in space?

How's your ship?

Not after the Pirates get to them. That has to be a cremation.

The ship took some hits on the approach, and some more while they tried to keep me out of the docking bay. Nothing vital- it flew, afterwards- but you never know.
