Pirate progress
Yeah I know I should be progressing rather than posting about progressing...
Anywho, the lining is cut out. I ended up with 2.5m left over though....I did cut the pattern differently to how the layout on the instructions and I didn't cut out the facing as that will be done in the red fabric, but I didn't think that would account for such a drastic amount left over. hmmm
I'm determined to cut out the wool tonight! The red facing/cuffs will be the last things left to sew, so I'll cut them out after I've sewn the main parts together. I've worked out how to sew the red facing on (though it requires handstitching it in on the inside), but I'm still wrapping my head around the cuffs. So I'll get the wool cut out tonight and then I can start sewing tomorrow. I read through the instructions today and it's actually pretty straightforward. I'm hopefully I can get all the blue bits (lining and wool) sewn up tomorrow, and then I can do the rest on Saturday. woo!
The floor is so cold!! Stupid tiles... :P I can't wait to get a cutting table.... *dreams*
