I got my whiskey. I got my wine. I got my woman and this time the lights are going out.
So let me tell you about this weekend.
This weekend was amazing. And nothing exciting happened.
Friday I went to work my horse.
He was a completely different horse from the last time I worked him.
It was like his attitude did a complete 360.
I got him to jump in the "round pen" (aka pygmy goat pen).
It was so cute because it was like, maybe a half foot tall?
And he jumped it like it was a big four foot fence.
And then he'd canter a few strides
stop
turn around
look at me with his ears forward
and prance up to me like he was saying
"Look at what I did mom. Aren't you proud?"
So I hopped on him bareback because he was being so good.
We just walked, but he was a prince.
Nice way to start the weekend.
Saturday went to work.
After work I went out with Casey, a girl I work with.
We had so much fun doing nothing.
We went to Wendy's and laughed about everything.
And there's nothing to do out here.
NOTHING. So we just drove around and talked.
Sunday I laid around the house.
I did absolutely nothing.
I watched VH1 all day.
I watched the Big in '05 awards.
Def Leppard was the final act.
They were AMAZING.
It made me so happy to see them performing an award show.
They're kind of off the radar in a way anymore.
They made a small comeback, but everyone's like,
Def Leppard who?
It's like, DUDE Def Leppard is why I listen to what I listen to.
They were one of the first rock groups I ever listened to.
