You Oughtta Know: Anna Dagmar
Anna has been a friend of mine for over a year now. We met at an open mic in August 2009 and have kept in touch since, meeting up for more performances. Tonight, I went to her coffeehouse concert (and fell in love with the place itself) in Manchester.
Anna is an outstandingly good piano-player, trained in jazz and classic (although she cites the former as being more her style). Her talent with a keyboard is really humbling. And her songwriting is excellent.
