I wanted to say: "Look, Brian, nobody cares that you like anime. Nobody cares how often you read manga. Nobody cares that you've read so much you open other books from the back. And Nobody cares how Irish you are. Nobody wants to hear about anything Celtic, and nobody wants to hear your pretend Irish accent. You're not different - so stop trying so hard. Nobody cares that you listen to the Killers or Flogging Molly. Nobody wants to know that you're Atheist. Leave Christians alone. Hitler was a smart guy; nobody is disagreeing, and nobody cares that you support his military strategies. Nobody takes your poetry serious, so stop pretending you're a poet. If anybody wants to know, then maybe they'll ask. Stop pretending to be such a serious/different person. You're just trying too hard. If you're serious and you're different, then just be serious and different. You don't have to make sure everybody knows it. Nobody needs to know. You're a sweet kid and a good friend, but just cool it."
