Hey y’all, this is honestly my first time writing a fan fiction so I hope you can bear with me for this one. I’ve been having a lot of inspiration lately and I really needed to put it into words. I know we have all been affected by the recent news of last year and I don’t want this to be seen as any way of forgetting about what happened. The news broke me for the past few months and right now I’m trying to cope. This is my way of coping and I hope anyone who is still reading Jongkey will join me.
A lot of authors have stopped their stories but I know a lot of us use this haven as a place to cope with the loss, and it’s unfortunate that we have to lose half the fandoms stories as well.
Thank you for giving this story a chance. I’m not sure whether it will be a full story or a one shot. I’ll let you know. I’ve already started writing it and I really hope you enjoy it and learn to be happy and enjoy life again while keeping him in our hearts and minds.

Chapter One - Scandal
Today was a lazy day, according to Taemin. He was the only one actually trying to find something to busy himself with since his members decided to ignore him with whatever stupid thing they were doing. Hence the word, lazy. As the TV was blaring in the background, Taemin laid on the couch counting the amount of time he’s been in the living room alone...until one word was heard from the device he could barely pay attention to. SHINee.
“Breaking news. Reports have been made SHINee members Jonghyun and Key are rumoured to be dating.”
Taemin instantly rose up from the couch upon hearing both his hyungs’ names. “What the fuck.”
“Speculations have been going around claiming netizens have found a leaked video online of these two celebs,” claimed the reporter “as the many years have gone by, rumours involving SHINee Jonghyun and Key have been around since debut. Although with this new leaked online video and fan speculations, we cannot help but finally believe there is something being kept secret between this couple. Stay tuned for more.”
Bursting into laughter, Taemin couldn’t believe his ears. Yes, his two hyungs have been rumoured to be together for a long time now because of their close friendship, but this is insane. Leaked video? Like a sex tape? It was a first that’s for sure. He just wished he knew what kind of video this was.
Honestly, if his two hyungs ever did get into a relationship, he would be the first to know and support. But since he knows that there’s no such thing, he couldn’t help but find this hilarious and oddly believable.
“I wonder if they heard about this.” Taemin said to himself. Is he going to be a good maknae and tell his hyungs or is he gonna rebel and wait for the moment to happen. He chose the latter.
“JONGHYUN!”
Taemin knew exactly what this was. And he knew exactly what he was going to do. Sit, watch and look innocent as if you don’t know what’s going on. Perfect. He was the perfect son to his umma.
“KIM JONGHYUN!”
Taemin watched Key burst into the living room. “Taeminnie. Have you seen Jonghyun?” Key asked fuming with anger. “Yes Umma. The last time I saw him, he was walking Roo. He should be back any moment.” Taemin explained innocently.
Secretly wanting to see this whole ordeal go down. He didn’t even understand why his Kibummie hyung was even angry at Jonghyunnie hyung. Oh well, he already started this whole innocent play, might as well fake it till he makes it.
Speaking of the devil, Jonghyun walked through the front door smiling like he won the lottery with Roo by his feet. Taemin made a confused face at his happiness.
As soon as Key saw Jonghyun walk through the door, he grabbed his hand and went straight to his and Jonghyuns shared room. Taemin was relieved he didn’t have to share a room with his umma and his hyung but also completely curious as to what they were hiding.
Giving a confused face, Taemin gave up his little game, which in his opinion needed an Oscar, and went back to laying on the couch waiting for the news anchor to come back with the rest of the news scandal.

As Key was dragging Jonghyun to their shared room, Jonghyun was not in his happy mood anymore. It was more like confused and worried at the same time as to why his best friend was acting this way.
“Kibummie. What’s going on?” Jonghyun asked in a scared tone. Key stopped at their bedroom door which caused Jonghyun to bump into him from behind. “Haven’t you seen or heard the news?” Key whispered as he struggled to keep his anger subdued. “No Key, I haven’t. Can you explain to me why I’m being dragged around like a rag doll?”
“There’s another rumour.”
“Rumour? There’s always rumours.”
“Not just any rumour Jong. Our kind of rumour.” Key tried to explain.
“Oh. Well that’s fine. We always have stuff like this happen. I don’t get how this is such a big deal right now Kibum.” Jonghyun said calmly. Kibum stared at Jonghyun like he was crazy. Did he honestly not know what was going on? They even have pictures. Why doesn’t Jong get it?
“It’s not like any of our old rumours Jonghyun. This time they have ‘proof’.” Key said with his fingers in the air making hand signals for ‘proof’. “Ok Kibum. What is this ‘proof’ they have on us? It’s fake and you know it.” Kibum rolled his eyes at what he said. As if he needed to prove to Jonghyun how important this was, he pulled out his cellphone from his back pocket and shoved the ‘proof’ in Jonghyuns face.
“...” It took Jonghyun a few seconds to wrap his head around what Key was showing him. Eyes going wide, Jonghyun had no words. This was actually out of this world. If he wasn’t who he was, he would have instantly believed these two people were secretly together in an intimate relationship. SHINee Jonghyun and SHINee Key. “Is this...” He tried, not knowing what to say and confused as ever.
“No you fucking idiot. It’s not us. But these two people look exactly like us. This guy even has your hair for crying out loud,” Key explained “is this enough ‘proof’ Jong?” Jonghyun was lost for words. First of all, this ‘proof’ was a video. Not just regular old photos. There was a couple who looked like exact replicas of Jonghyun and Key. From top to bottom, on a bed, making out. Hardcore.
This was the first time he could ever say, in the wise words of Key, he was shook. It’s so unbelievable that it was so believable at the same time. Did he make out with Key and just forget?
No, that was impossible. Seeing Kibums reaction however, was the dead giveaway to the answer he was looking for. SM is going to kill them. They’re fucked.
