So I turned on Wii Fit to do some quick inputting of the working out that I did this weekend, plus to do the body test, and maybe do a bit of yoga.
I have been using it rather a lot, and I've developed three major annoyances with the software.
1) When I did the body test today, I'd gained 1.3 pounds. It gave me a list of several options as to why I might have gained weight - eating more, eating less healthy, getting too little sleep, less exercise - but nowhere on the list could I find the actual reason. Every 4 weeks, just like clockwork, I gain 5 pounds for the span of about 3-4 days. There was no option for "PMS" or similar. fuck you, Wii Fit, I am so very NOT impressed at your lack of inclusiveness for this, which I am given to understand is actually pretty widespread. Fuck you. Also I want chocolate. RIGHT NOW. Rar.
2) You cannot enter activities for past days. Meaning the 5 hours of skiing I did on Sunday, and the long walk I had on Saturday, can only be counted as today's activity. What the fuck is up with that? Maybe I was too tired when I got home from skiing for five hours to remember to boot up your stupid-ass little program and tell it O HAI I WORKED MY ASS OFF TODAY.
3) Cannot program exercise routines. This is extra annoying for yoga and I think I am just going to use a separate yoga tape because it kind of defeats the purpose to stop after every pose, select a new one, etc. (If it's possible to do this and I'm just retarded, please do tell me!)
So yeah. Still pretty pleased to have it, but #1 and #2 especially are pissing me off right now. I'll still use it, though, for sure.
