It is friggin cold outside! No blizzard, though. I am unimpressed.

But more importantly, I have three 750mL bottles of raspberry lambic to share with wrenbow and first_seventhe, and a bunch of groceries that may include brownies and raspberries, and wine, and I am going to put these things away and then go into supercleaning mode. AWESOME

(The up side of the company conference is that they tend to ply us with free alcohol. One has to be careful, of course, not to become too tipsy and silly in front of one's customers... but still!)

Woohoo, free alcohol :D Awesomeness.

I love lambic. It doesn't taste like beer, it's highly alcoholic, and it's like concentrated carbonated raspberry. What's not to love?

Fruit lambics of various kinds are one of my great pleasures in life. One of my favorite ever brewpubs does a layered beer, much like a black-and-tan -- except that the two beers are a raspberry lambic on the bottom and a chocolate stout on the top. It tastes like a raspberry truffle. ♥

Oh, man, that sounds FABULOUS.

I've never been a beer drinker. I like sweet things. So raspberry lambic is exactly my style. There's a bar in Chicago that has a 16-page bottled beer menu, including 2 or 3 kinds of fruit lambic and 3 kinds of mead. I love it. (But I will wait until spring to go again, because this weather is not appropriate for tromping all over the city.)
