Whee!
37,044, baby! *does a victory dance* The goal at this point is to hit 40K tomorrow night, take it a little easier over the weekend (1700 a day, probably, unless I get completely swept up) and then hopefully hit 50K by the end of Thanksgiving Day. We'll see. The plot is moving right along, the secondary characters who've been hanging out in the background are suddenly developing personality. celeloriel found a plot hole earlier today that I've now fixed, and I'm finally firmly into Fall. Unfortunately, Fall has more storyboard cards than either Ascent or Precipice, but most of that is because I needed to record greater detail; I'm into chapter 22 now and expect to tie everything up with the epilogue as chapter 35.
Of course, Cel insisted on adding yet more to this, but that's okay. She was right, and her version of it is much more interesting. Also, now that Kain isn't dripping angst everywhere, it's not so painfully wrenching to write.
Okay. Duty done for the night; the kitchen's mostly clean; my desk is tidy; the laundry is done as of last night. This means it's video gaming time. Whee!
