Fic meme, stolen from various folks.

Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?

Less, mostly because I did not do NaNoWriMo, which I had originally planned to do, and I definitely didn't finish Every Light.

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2007?

I would not have thought I'd have written Fran from Final Fantasy XII. It's not that I don't like her, it's just that...she doesn't seem to need to tell me any more of her story. Also I find her voice intimidating as hell to try and write.

What's your favorite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest?

Either the first chapter of "Every Light" or "In His Footsteps." Quit preening, Kain.

Did you take any writing risks this year? (See above for unexpected pairings, etc.) What did you learn from them?
I wrote "Their Quietus Make," which is to say I posted porn under my usual writing name. I learned that I can at least write porn well enough not to show up on fanficrants! This is good.

Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?

Finishing Every Light! Or at least getting more chapters posted. And finishing one of my claims definitely not so I can go grab a claim at roads_diverged. Writing more porn?

From my past year of writing, what was...
My Favorite Story: Either Every Light Casts A Shadow or "In His Footsteps."

My Best Story: Probably "Their Quietus Make" or else "In His Footsteps." I have just realized I have not posted up one of my kinkfest pieces from September and I really should.

Story Most Underappreciated by the Universe: I'm not really sure. Maybe "On Easy Terms," or maybe I just think more of it than I ought.

Most Fun: "Shake the Heavens." It flowed so beautifully when I got started. Also any time Kain, Edge, and Rydia got in the same place in Every Light Casts A Shadow, in which case the snark just appears on the page and I love it.

Most Disappointing: "By the Sounding Sea" or "Ray of Light," because they're both pretty damn forgettable.

Sexiest: "Their Quietus Make."

Story with a Single Sexy Moment: I don't know?

Hardest to Write: "Midsummer." See above - I find Fran incredibly intimidating.

Most Unintentionally Telling: "Their Quietus Make," I think.
