Oops.
So it's been, um, quite a while since I actually did some updating here; I've been stalking the f-list as per usual, but not recording much of interest. Work is making me very frustrated for a variety of reasons, which is not so fun. I'm about halfway through the summer complement of challenges, which is good. Speaking of which, I have some fic links at the bottom of this entry, of stuff I've written but just not managed to crosspost.
I spent last weekend deleting a metric asston of junk e-mail from The RPG Place since I hadn't done that in over a year. I've managed to decrease it from ~300,000 emails down to under 70,000, so that's something.
Fourth of July had good points and bad points; I seemed to be the only one really interested in going to the fireworks, and the general lack of interest kind of killed my enthusiasm, but then I ended up getting really upset because I wasn't seeing the fireworks. I guess I had not realized how important a part of the 4th of July that is, so I was being stupid and crying over it. rage_goblin dragged me outside and we could see some of the fireworks over the buildings nearby, so that made me feel a little better. And for next year, I know better and will actually go and see the fireworks regardless.
Other than that, little is going on save that I'm working on stuff (springkink: 1 of 2 complete, het_challenge: 0 of 2 complete.) And trying to corral all the little bunnies that are running away with me.
Random fact #693: Aqua's "Barbie Girl" absolutely never fails to put me in a cheerful mood. It's stupid, but there you go.
