Well, this should be fun.
So apparently we should be welcoming our robot overlords to the freeways. Regardless of AI failures, they've gotta be better than some drivers I've run into!
In other news, I was ridiculously sick yesterday. I had gone to meet pooka_madness for lunch at Flat Top, and was distinctly not-hungry, so I picked at my food and eventually ended up heading over to rage_goblin's. I, of course, forgot to have anything with caffeine in it, so by 6 pm I had a raging headache (and of course at that point could not HAVE anything with caffeine in it if I planned to sleep.) So I took some Advil and we went to dinner, where I picked at a salad, being still very not-hungry. We got back and watched a couple of episodes of Buffy, during which my headache continued to escalate into ungodly migraine territory and I started feeling really nauseous. I ended up throwing up (and apologizing profusely to rage_goblin, who told me to stop apologizing and was soothing and tucked me into bed and cuddled me until I fell asleep at about 9:30). I woke up this morning feeling mostly better, but kind of dizzy, and still not hungry.
I made myself eat a bowl of cereal over the course of about three hours, since I recognize that my body requires some kind of fuel, and so far that has cooperated with me. I also made sure to have a little bit of caffeine and some water. We'll see how things go when it gets to be lunchtime in about an hour.
In other news, Ganon apparently has been throwing up fairly frequently, so I made a vet appointment this afternoon to which calhin has generously agreed to convey the cat; I'll meet them there and pay for the visit, but there's no way for me to get home, get cat, get to vet in time for the appointment, so I'm very grateful for Chris's assistance. Sigh. Need money. Don't have enough money for all of this. x_x;
I did recently get a raise, and that will help quite a bit, but I just need to pay off the stuff that I've had to put on my card for the car. So my other credit cards will just wait patiently for higher payments until I manage to pay that off. Argh, money. Le sigh.
On the plus side, the electric bill was really low this month, and so was the gas bill. And I'm nearly done paying back my dad for the car stuff that he paid for, huzzah.
