Of NaNo and travel.

Yays. Back to Chicago with surprisingly few travel delays. NaNo is currently near 44,000 words. I just finished up the last two pages of the outline, putting the total outline at 8.75 pages. I am currently on the first line of page two. Uh. I am ded of epic, and it's all celeloriel's fault. I went to dinner with her and yi_sen on Saturday, which was great and filled with geekery and laughter and wonderful silliness. Then we sat down and talked about Every Light. She fixed things (as she does) and then she inspired a sequel. Oh God. I so do not have TIME for all this writing. But she mentioned it and Jalen-muse got greedy and it was like well, crap.

Also, on the plane on the way back, I made a random friend of the guy next to me, who observed me writing NaNo and recognized it as being about FF4, and we struck up a conversation. It was great. :D

So I need to make up at least ten noble houses; there will be an end result of about thirty, but I think I only need ten for the purposes of NaNo. I'm keeping track of them by Major vs Minor, and the surname. I will have notes on the head of the house (gender, name, political leanings, appearance), his/her heir, any other scions, the general trend of the house and its investments, and where they fall in the massive plot arc that is Every Light. My brain is totally exploding. Zurg. This thing is going to be SO FREAKING HUGE.

And once NaNo is over I have to go back to writing for my claims. *whimper* Drabbles ahoy, people, seriously. Does anyone know if 100_chances has a minimum wordcount? Or 30enemies? I didn't see it in the user info. *glances at twilightsrain*

Alright, back to working on NaNo.

Oh, and I started FF3 this weekend. Amazing how fast I got spoiled by FF12's super-easy levelling system, as I am now throwing hissy fits about having to level up the slow way in FF3. Lame! But I loves me the job system, and the plot seems more coherent than FF5, so it's all win.

OK, nobility of Baron, get yourselves sorted out. The amount of worldbuilding I'm having to do for this fanfic is obscene, but at least it's good practice for Wyrdborn.

every light casts a shadow, thanksgiving, writing process, writing, travel, nanowrimo
