Entertain me, please. Although actually this one has a purpose beyond entertainment.
So. My hair has grown so that it is now below my shoulderblades. I like my hair long, because it's soft and pretty, but it's incredibly heavy and gives me neckaches. Also, there is no hair-control mechanism on earth that can deal with my massive amounts of hair; elastic bands snap within 3-4 uses, scrunchies get stretched out to unusability within a couple of months, and as for barettes and clips, forget it. They fall right out.
Also, the sheer weight of my hair makes it nigh-impossible to deal with; when I braid it, the braid is almost as thick as my wrist, and it pulls constantly at the back of my head. When it's short, it's so much easier to take care of, and I've been told I look better with short hair because I'm not "weighed down" by having way too much hair around my face.
So. I present this question to you: Should I cut my hair? The length I'm thinking of is like unto this one (That photo was taken July 31, 2005. My hair has grown down past my shoulderblades since then. My hair grows *absurdly* fast.) And for reference, my hair now is not unlike my current icon (which is from six years ago.)
