I wish it was Sunday ^_^
I spent most of my weekend playing massive amounts of video games. I played Magna Carta basically all night Saturday.
sabrielrose and I went to see the L&M production of Macbeth. Unfortunately between overstuffing myself with lunch and then eating dinner later, I was way over-full, and my tummy was not happy about it. I ended up having to leave early (like, when Donalbain and Malcolm flee to England/Ireland), which was not good. Got home and kittykitty had managed to eat a rubber band and then throw up in the kitchen and the dining room, so I cleaned that up. Talked with Jack and Jeremy a bit. Played more Magna Carta. So it goes.
Went back and picked Sam up from the play. Played more Magna Carta and talked to
wallbrat. I finally went to bed around 3:30 and slept until around 12:30. I cuddled with the cat for a while since he was feeling affectionate (he loves weekend mornings when he can curl up in bed with me). And then I went back to gaming. ^_^;
Yesterday's excellent Magna Carta quote requires a little bit of relatively non-spoilery explanation. One of your party members has a warrant out for her arrest (for stuff she didn't do) and is being chased down by the Holy Order of Eryu. Your main character pretends to go along with the game, pissing off said character and lulling the Order into a sense of security. Later, you catch up with her and start beating down the Order.
Cleric: Wait, you're on THEIR side?!
Calintz: Did I ever say I was on yours?
Cleric: From now on, the Tears of Blood are the enemies of the Holy Order of Eryu!
Calintz: I have no problem with that.
*dies*
Also, Jeremy and I are in agreement - General Agreian is definitely, definitely an Abyssal. I have yet to decide if he's actually evil. I think he might be. But maybe not.
Um. Yes. Played games for most of yesterday. Gauging my progress by the walkthrough that I have, I'm on section 30 of 42, so it proceeds apace. This is a very LONG game; I've clocked over 55 hours already. Mostly due to the *muttersnarlsnap* battle system and the *grumblegrowlgripe* dungeon navigation. Ahem. Anyway, Melzer came over later and we had a movie night: Doom, Bros. Grimm, and part of X-2. Shiny and fun. Also
sabrielrose made a delicious dinner.
And now I am at work. Why is it not my job to play RPGs? I could be kept busy for quite some time. *thinks of the pile of games getting ever larger*
Right. *yawn* Work work work.
