The end of last week didn't have much going for it except a whole bunch of extra projects at work (just when the phones were finally slowing down), so that was pretty lame. Friday night was a Star Wars oneshot run by teki, in which I played a Wookie soldier. Me killed stuffs good. Except I didn't get to kill much. That's ok. I did (by sheer force ( Read more... )

That's not a lie. When they open up just before attacking you. They are a one hit kill with the hookshot.

I hit the hookshot button every time they open up and it doesn't go. I have them Z-targeted. The hookshot goes. They jump and kill me anyway.

I am at once deeply fond of the Book of Bone and Ebony as a font of wonderful, thematic, evocative toys and deeply despise it for being so good when the two previous sorcery books (and the magitech stuff in Outcaste) sucked tremendous wang. That said, the hairpin daiklaive is the best Day/Night toy ever.

I love the extra info on First and Forsaken Lion, who is freaking awesome. Also the Juggernaut story-seeds.

I like some of the magi-tek (tee-hee) in Outcaste. Bo3C has the Hearthstones, which are good, and I like the artifact/spell sections in S&S. Just generally though I'm a lore/sorcery whore in Exalted (when am I not?) and I really do love the two Creation-oriented sorcery supplements.
