Because I had to share it.

Dear Mom and Dad,

Thank you for all my wonderful Christmas gifts.

Thank you for believing in me.

Thank you for caring enough to teach me how to be a good person, and how to make my own choices, and then letting me go out and learn from my own mistakes.

Thank you for always being there,and for listening, and for trying to understand my interests and hobbies, even if you don't really "get" them.

Thank you for being my friends as well as my parents.

Thank you for making it possible for me to get such a good education.

Thank you for being the best parents I could ask for.

And thank you for reading this cheesy and mildly ridiculous card all the way to the end.

Because you see, I told my Mom I would write her a thank-you note, and she said "you know you don't have to." And usually I don't write thank-you notes to my parents....but I just got inspired.
